  1. I agree, seems like it rained most of the year near Burma. AF totally useless! The only few dry days seemed to favor the AI...
  2. Sorry Joe, I misunderstood your question. I assumed you were talking about the individual battle scenarios which provide a different view/angle versus the grand campaign... (Like different units and fortifications)... My bad! (never looked at the screenshots that you referenced) Ooops!
  3. Heh! Buy the game and you can experience it all! Seriously, these smaller campaigns/battles (Kursk & D-Day) have nothing to do with the "grand" campaign... They are totally independent scenarios... [ April 17, 2006, 07:10 PM: Message edited by: saur_kraut ]
  4. No zoom feature. You're looking at smaller scenarios (small campaigns/big battles) that come with the game. You get to play smaller individual campaigns of historic battles (Battle of the Bulge, D-Day, Kursk and so on)... They're enjoyable to play!
  5. Don't get to discouraged Kuni, it will show up, mine showed up quite a bit later than the early birds... Plus, it will take you quite a while to download... The pipes are full! If you live on the east coast like me, you won't get a chance to play tonight unless you burn the midnight oil and call in sick at work tomorrow... Holy Cow! It's dropped to 8.5 kb/sec [ April 12, 2006, 05:12 PM: Message edited by: saur_kraut ]
  6. I just want to make sure that we get 2 attempts (per email) at the download because I'm getting a whopping 11 kb/sec which will take me 3+ hours... I'll probably just cancel and try tomorrow since everybody and their brother is now dowloading... Is that safe? LOL [ April 12, 2006, 05:01 PM: Message edited by: saur_kraut ]
  7. That does seem a little long. My AI turns only lasted a few minutes. I didn't time it, but I'd say no more than 5 minutes. Just curious, what's your computer specs (processor, ram, video card and operating system)? Just a friendly suggestion, make sure you have your video and sound card updated with the latest drivers. 8. Let's hope it ships this week because the natives are getting restless (including myself)! Tuesday (4/11/06), makes 6 weeks since the preorder announcement... No reply necessary, just the stating the obvious...
  9. Please clarify, two weeks from the gold announcement last week or two weeks from today (Thursday 4/6/06)? Thank you!

  11. I have no problem with the button description on the top bar. Small buttons, well, I don't have a problem there either, maybe cause I'm running the game on a 24" monitor... Maybe crank your resolution back down to 1024x768? Just curious, why do you need to zoom? I click on the world map at the bottom and it does take me to the point on the detail map... I'm not trying to start a debate war, you guys just seem a little picky that's all... Peace! [ April 05, 2006, 05:14 PM: Message edited by: saur_kraut ]
  12. Ronn & Sandy, not to be ugly, but are you guys from a different planet? I had no problems running the demo and enjoyed it very much. Too much to scroll? Bah! It's a shame you guys don't like it... You're missing out on a great/fun WWII strategy game... Oh well, we all have our own taste I suppose...
