  1. I just had another hang up during my 2nd game of the day. The 1st game I played as the British. If I'm not 100% sure the game will run right (hang up), I will play another nation before I play my favorite one (US). I had no problem during the British game. I finished that one and started another game as the US.

My leader & wing man and the computer US leader and wingman all had Wildcats. I went through my turn; started at very high and dropped to high; I did not attack anyone. Next came element 2's turn; Japanese KI-61-I Tony (L). The wingman targets the US computer controled leader and does a maneuver. Next, the game hangs up with the US leader rocking back and forth, left to right. End Of Flight/ game and I'm still in Turn 1!!!!

  2. I guess I didn't express my full idea. What about us being able to control those type of planes with our current leader and wingman. That way the pilot can still increase his skill, and can still shoot at the enemy planes. Having a rear gunner in the plane that we can control and having "gunner only" cards would add for alot more excitement. There could also be the chance that the gunner could get wounded or even KIA!!!

  3. Add another game owner to the list. I've had several games hang up on me. However, It's happening to me while I'm just playing the computer. Since I use Zone Alarm, I haven't been successful on starting any missions on the internet yet. I know I have to shut down Zone Alarm to be able to play DIF on the internet. But until I find a replacement firewall to use just for playing DIF via the internet, I'm stuck having to playing the AI!!

  4. What about creating a crew member list who are just gunners? They could be crew members on planes that need a rear gunner: Avenger, Dauntless, etc.!! That way we could keep track of the damage and kills they cause and the medal they are awarded!!!

  5. I need to re format my hard drive. Could you tell me what files/ folders I can save on a floppy so I can load my pilots files on to the new reload of the game.

I saw pilot.db and player.db but not sure if those are the right ones.

    Thanks

  6. I had it happen again. I was playing an intercept or a dogfight 2X2 (can't remember which one for sure). I was the U.S.

First, the computer controled U.S. wingman was shot down with no error message. Next, the computer controled U.S. leader was shot down And the following error message came up.

    Error occurred: DiFOGameClient

Description: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Trace info: at bartbert.games.dito.client.forms.mainForm.Set Altitude Control (Aircraftclass old Aircraft,AircraftClass New Aircraft) at bartbert.games.difo.client.forms.mainForm.RemoveAircraft Control )Int32Aircraftld)

    Thanks

  7. To add to the above listed error. In another mission I had another leader get shot down in the 4th turn and still got an error message, but it had a little different message. I don't recall ever getting one when it is the wing-man going down in flames, just the leader.

  8. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I am.

Twice now during the 3rd turn of a non-internet game, I've had my leader get shot down. Following seeing the plane go down, I get an eDif Error. It states "Error occurred in: DiFOGameClient Description object reference not set to an instance of an object".

"Trace info: at bartbent.games.dito.client.forms.LeaderHandForm.ctor(GameClass (GameClass game object,Int32).

The 1st time it happened I can't remember what country I was playing. The error appeared right after the plane was shown going down. The second time I had this happen I was the Japanese and the error appeared after the pilot had bailed out.

    Any idea what's happening?

    Thanks
