Disappointed? Not at all. When I heard that BFG was rebuilding the system, I thought "wouldn't it be cool if they extended it to near-modern warfare, but kept WWII?" However, I AM very interested in getting other nations - Brits, Germans...hell, all of NATO, the UN, the Burmese for all I care - modeled. Get on it.
