  1. Ok, I play a very smooth demo with my configiration that is not so new: Pentium Xeon 4, 1.7 Ghz, dual processor (2 chipset) 2 G Ram ATI X1600 512 RAM. If you have, like me, a real 2 chipset two processor, DON'T disable the second processor in the option like for the Dual Core. In my case the game is using very well my two (real) processors. Teh game is still not very stable: I experienced 3 random crashes during my gaming, in an interval of 7 hours: so still not the most stable release, but not so bad, over all considering that my system is not the most common at all (I have strange capture graphic cards on board and other stuffs). Nice job guys, congratulations! ***Luca As you can see I have plenty of Ram, a fast graphic card (120 euro last month) and a very old pc (5 years, but it was a server). OS in Win 2000 Pro. The game has a good framerate, I like it very much and I think the guys at BF did a nice job. I look forward to donwload my copy and see the editor (I know, no landscape editor, only mission, but it is still ok).
  2. Quote: "Why doesn't everyone wait until the DEMO and see for yourselves whether it runs on your system or not??????" Because this is a forum where people like to exchange their question, feelings and so on. We are just asking these questions between ourself, we are not engulfing the BF customer care with them.
  3. Greetings, my PC is a former server, with 2 Pentium 4 Xeon processors, each clocked at 1.7 Gh., running Win 2K pro. So my configuration is not so usual... the clock of my processors is lower than the suggest one by BF, but there are 2 processors (with two real chipset, not like the new Intel duo). Video Card is a new Radeon 1600 with 512 Mb. Onboard RAM is 2 Giga. Anybody guess if my spec. will be enough for TOW? Thanks in advance. ***Luca
  4. Hi, this is Luca form Italy. Personal info: 45 years old (a little bit over the average, here, it seems). To live I work in the advertisng-marketing field, and for passion I go to the University of physics (astrophysics is my greatest passion). I like very much the history of IIWW, and in fact History Channell is my preferred one I am involved with the CM serie from the very beginning, when the first game was just released. I had some CM by email tournaments many years ago, but honestly I prefer to play vs AI: I like to build my scenarios (for me it is a must a scenario editor, at least at units choiche level); over all I like tanks battle. I own all the 3 game of the serie, and the preferred one is Barbarossa to Berlin, because of the hig number of mechanised units included in the game. The one that I like less is the last one, probably because there are no King Tiger and other units that I like. I read the forum very oft, but usually I don't post very oft. My best regards t alle the people here. Luca
  5. Hi, anybody knows if ToW will work on Windows 2000 Pro? Thanks Luca
  6. Hi Drawde, thank for info. When and if you have time, may you plz. copy and paste here some lines of the file where is specified the composition (quality and quantity) of the opposing forces? Thanks and have fun with the game. Luke
  7. Greetings Daymo, thanks for sharing infos with us. I have a question, maybe you can help. Is there in the russian version any XML editor to set your forces (i know that there is not yet a full editors, but rumors said that already from the beginning should be there a XML editor to set the compposition of your forces). thanks in advance, ***Luke
  8. Greetings, my question is quiet simple: there will be in the game a scenario editor, where to set up units, landscape, etc? I'm asking, because what made like to me so much the 3 CM games was the chance to build by myself my own battles. Thanks for the answer (and sorry if somebody else asked about it). Luca
