  1. In the second mission you have to rescue the U-boat crew. I pull my boat up next to the U-boat, but nothing happens. How do you get credit for rescuing the crew?
  2. I went back to continue playing an engagement from the Marines campaign after upgrading to 1.21 from 1.20 and none of my Marine units could access artillery or mortar support where previously that had been able to do so. All support icons were marked DENIED. I could still call attack helicopters. I had to restart the engagement from the beginning in order to have access to indirect fire support. Fortunately, I had a saved game from the setup turn of the engagement.
  3. This is what I have observed about mine fields. Units on foot moving through a minefield using "quick" get blown up. If they move through using "hunt" or "slow" they are less likely to trigger mines, but it can still happen. Contrary to what is implied by the manual, engineers seem to have no special abilities in their ability to find and mark mines, and seem just as likely to be blown up as other foot soldiers. I have yet to see an opportunity for engineers to "mark mines" (the option is never available). If someone has found a better way to deal with mine fields, please let me know. I believe the way engineer units interact with minefields is one area of the game that still needs some improvement.
  4. I have been playing PBEM in 1.02 as the Hajji (Syrian). Initially, I had all me guys hide. At first they seemed to come out of hiding (something that did not happen in 1.01) so I could give them orders; but now they neither move nor fire, even when the Americans walk right in front of their guns. I know some of my men are "rattled" or "nervous", but others are "OK" and still won't fire. I don't get this behavior when playing in single player mode. There must be a bug.
  5. My opponent and I are having a similar problem. All the units we set up with HIDE commands are stuck and will not respond to other commands even if we attempt to cancel the original commands and give new ones. Please fix in 1.02.
  6. I think the game is brilliant, but agree with projected enhancements already posted. I would add a couple more thoughts: 1) Add a binocular view when you have attached the camera to a individual leader unit: ie, squad leaders and armored vehicle commanders. 2) Allow AT guns to dig in whenever you provide trenches for the infantry. In the army we always dug in our heavy weapons first, not last. If you are going to dig a trench (which is a lot of work) you can bet you will find the energy to dig in your AT weapons. 3) Enable a broken down truck to detach the towed gun. (Maybe you can do it now, but I can't figure it out). That's all for now folks!
