  1. I have had this problem since day one. With any of my 3 systems listed below. T72 freezes on all of them. Have disabled and removed Audigy Zs. Still freezes. Also with regards to Overclocking, The systems I am going to list for you below all contain ASUS main boards and every last one of these boards overclocks a bit by DEFAULT. I have found with most of the newer generation boards that I have used, Nforce4 Intel, Nforce4 AMD, and Intel 955X based all are more difficult to run at spec then to overclock. Thats right you heard correctly. Bios defaults on these boards are overclocked in more then one way. I hope your statements about this game not running on a overclocked system are not accurate. This would be a grave mistake. And if this is the case then you are going to have an awful lot of unhappy customers on your hands. I strongly suggest you test your game on one of the boards listed below. I mean man, what are you thinking? Do you have no concept of modern hardware at all? This is nuts. I am NOT kidding when I say these boards overclock with bios defaults! (For an average user it is more difficult to set these boards to spec then to leave them OC'd at bios defaults.) 2. Hoggy, I wasn't trying to impress you with my certifications. Please don't assume you mean that much too me. Rather a defensive stance I think. Should I assume your rather hostile response means you have no certifications at all? That would be wrong wouldn't it? Sort of jumping to a conclusion, as yo have done with me. I too have a background in Networks and administration and am currently working as an IT administrator for several businesses here in New England. I also own and operate a Computer networking sales and service business as well. The developers have said that the problem exists and they are working on it. This means that the problem lies in the software right? Did you not read the response: I tried it with no sound and previous sound cards. Polecat Out No certifications posted here for consideration.
  3. No I would not want to try that. By the way, two of the systems were formerly using the SB Audigy 5.1. It was only recently that I updated to the Audigy 2 ZS. Also I have run the game with NO sound at all and I still get freezes. polecat out CompTIA A+ Network+ Certified
  4. Let me just chime in here to echo tarballs concerns. I am having the same type of freezing issues. This most likely has NOTHING to do with tarball's system. I would recommned not mucking around with it as I can confirm that this problem exists when running the game on ANY of the following 3 systems: System 1 P4 650 (3.4GHz,2MB L2, 800MHz FSB, Socket 775) Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe Bios Rev 0802 Lian-LI PC-60B-Plus Coolermaster Real Power 550(RS-550-ACLY) 2GB Patriot(PDC22G5600+XBLK) DDR2 2x 160GB Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 Serial ATA II 7200RPM Hard Drive w/8MB Buffer (Raid 0) 1x 160GB Seagate ST3160827AS NCQ Serial ATA 7200RPM Hard Drive w/8MB Buffer 1x 120GB Seagate ST3120026AS Serial ATA 7200RPM Hard Drive w/8MB Buffer BFG Geforce 7800GTX 256MB PCI-E Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS (Latest WinXP Beta OpenAl drivers). (At best this is very shoddy work for a finished project). I paid for the product and hoped for far far better then what I have received. The concept and unique nature of this game is it's ONLY saving grace IMHO. Please fix it ASAP so I can use what I have paid for on any one of my new high end systems. Polecat out
  5. Chill bud it will be OK. Better now? Polecat out
  6. Can some one Pleeeeeaaaaasssseee make some co-op missions for me? Maybe just add 2 more tanks to the existing missions or something? Pleeeeeaaaaaasssseeeee? Polecat out or should I say polecat pout?
  7. I request that some one please Save as, open and edit the existing levels stored in the Cache folder to add multiple player tanks and more AI enemy without changing the overall mission goals. In this way it is my hope to play the entire campaign co-op with friends. Is this possible? It seems it may be. I have been able to open the first "deliver the tank to the serb base" nmission and play co-op in the same tank with two friends. Please some one confirm that this can be done to alter the entire campaign for multiplay. Polecat out

  9. Well I love this sim man. Hosted up a co-op on the home LAN. Stared at that damn single Co-op mission for a second and thought....This blows. So I tried the following: Host a co-op open a user mission Browse to C:\Program Files\Battlefront\T-72\CACHE Viola!! bunch of missions to play Cooperatively. I believe they are the single player missions. I Think. I only tried the first one and It would have to be multiple positions in the same T34. Now if we can save copies of and edit them to add more enemy tanks and a couple more player controlled tanks we would have a tank fightin fiesta on our hands. Can I get some confirmation on this please? Help me out here guys this is looking good. YEEEEEHAAAWWWWW Polecat out
