  1. The Panzer General series can keep me busy as long as needed. Just checking if something is happening with the game. If you need any testers from outside when the game is in beta version, I will be ready.
  2. Can we be sure it comes out August-October, if it was supposed to be Q4 2004? It is sad to see a great idea like this come to nothing:(
  3. How far is the game? Will it be released in Q2, 2005 or at least a demo available? This could be THE wargame of my life so thats why I sound a little impatient.
  4. I would like to see more in terms of troop movements (including armies brought to the other end of the country by train). As far as I can see from the screenshots, SC2 will offer a greater level of detail so maybe there is a chance to surround an army or two. And, if we are going after what-if scenarios, we can even try to develop the attack and reach Rostov immediately from Stalingrad cutting the German front into two pieces. But we will see when the game is released.
  5. In SC1 there is a way to break through the front line, I have come close to accurate simulation of 1940 Western Front breakthrough, Ardennes to Dunkirk. Anyway looking forwards to SC2!
  6. So how far is it actually? One more week left in Q2. Would be fun to have at least a demo, to compare to SC1.
  7. It helps. I just wonder, is it possible to select between several types of Rockets, like Heavy Artillery, V1 and V2 all behaving as Rockets and available at the same time or is only one kind of Rockets available?
  8. Would be fun if it was possible to have different kinds of corps or armies - mountain, elite (guard/Waffen SS etc.), mechanized (armored infantry), artillery (Soviet army had large artillery formations - but those can be made by editing rockets of nations that did not have them), or different types of fighters/bombers or tanks available at the same time. Will partisans be available, and in which class? What about anti-partisan units?
  9. Actually Sevastopol was a battle where they fired more artillery shells than ordinary ammo. About V2 rockets: historically useless as some of you said but they could be in the game for what-if scenarios, assuming that more accurate rockets are built. As the game develops we will probably get some alternative history scenarios too.
  10. Hi, I have read on the Battlefront page about editing SC2 BUT I have played Panzer General 2 and there they edit EVERYTHING up to graphics, change flags, create new units and yes even hack the game! So will I be able to edit graphics in SC2, or create new units with a unit editor if there is one?
