I'm sorry but... so what! I think people just get so lazy. So you have to uninstall and reinstall some files from time to time for MP. Big deal! People don't use their brains enough and force the software guys into mindless submission designing frameworks for EVERYONE when its best to keep it simple. Have US do the filing and indexing. A lot of us like NOT BEING like everyone else.

It's not the smoke grenade launchers that did it for me in the screenshots of the T-72 in question but the turret size indicating it was pre-Dolly Parton configuration. Sorry... the screenshots from the game clearly show either a T-72A with moderate up-armor.

PLEASE consider this! I know that you guys are probably putting final touches on the code and getting it ready for mass-production but PLEASE listen to the fans ok? Modern Eastern Bloc AFV is such a unique genre!!

You know Chief Moon... There has not been a single tank simulator out there (that I know of at least) where a person can play in a t-62, 64, T-80U or T-90... you guys could corner the market in that genre and have an edge. Not to say anything agaist the Greatest Generation... I grew up with my Dad telling me all kinds of wonderful stories about WWII... but it seems to me that the game market is saturated with WWII games nowadays. It's too bad my Dad isn't around to see it... he'd be glued to the computer screen. Do me a favor guys... if BOF takes off (which I think it has a fair chance of doing) make at least ONE more modern Eastern Bloc tank sim before you go into a WWII frenzy... come on... just give it a try ok? No one has been able to play as the Soviets in a quality tank game. There is so much history behnd Russian tank designs that is always overlooked by western acheivement... PLEASE think about it okay? For us old Cold War Horses. :cool:

Yes. I have heard of Check modifications to their T-72 As to fire Svir missiles. I think I read it in Zaloga somewhere. It's not common though. I think they added the B in the game to try to justify the ability.

We still on for a release date of late June? Pardon me... I'm excited about it. If I ask long enough maybe they'll tell me that it has shipped.

The graphics for the the T-72 in the game is most likely the Check/Polish export version of the T-72A known also as the T-72M1. Zaloga is the man.

The vehicle specs say that you can play in the T-72B... but sorry guys... the graphics show the smoke dispensers in the wrong place for that. The turret armor is not thick enough to call the tank in the screenshots and movies as the B version of the tank. I have heard of T-72As able to fire the missiles from their barrels so I have no problem with that. So which is it guys? Typo on the vehicle list or a did you guys give the T-72A the armor and abilities of the T-72B as a cheat? Please tell me that its a typo. All I want is realism.
