Wicky; what do you think of Nebelwerfer modeling in the new game?

Steve; while I'm here I would also add that Nebelwerfers must be fixed in the new game. The way the rockets were designed varied from the Allies and Soviets. The German warhead was in the back rather the front. This should cause much more airburting as thier design dictates it.

Steve; I was merely venting my frustrations and got a little carried away. I made a already apologised for this. There is no sense in me becoming a Troll over being trolled at. It's that is just how it spreads. Sanctioned Trolling is the worst kind you know. Moving on; I have questions about the sound in your upcomming game. The .WAV files don't do it for me and sound horrible on my audiophile level computer sound setup that does double for gaming. The good part is that well recorded tracks and sound/ music in games sounds extremely good, but poorly recorded tracks and lack luster sound in games sounds much worse. Now even when I had average computer speakers CMBO /CMBB never sounded all that graeat to begin with. I understand you are not going to get hi fidelity sound from a WAV but my question is what do you plan to do about this? Since you are writing a whole new game engine I would like to think that the sound will be greatly improved. It is'nt urgent you answer this as a Demo down the road would let me find out for myself but since your here I may as well ask.

Michael; you are absolutly right. You are clearly correct for the most part in your assemsment. My unbridled frustration with Trolls almost consumed me. Thanks for the "atta boy" and constuctive critisism. I'm glad I caught myself there even if it took the help of Moon and yourself. A crusade against Troll can not be won when frustration sets in. I almost let them get the better of me but almost is not good enough. You hear that Trolls? Not now not ever!

Here is my contribution. Let the designers and programmer and all other EMPLOYESS responsible for the game do their job. When they ask for customer input then it should be given. So far they seem competent over all to me. The posters rudely shouting their demands I view as incompetent. The professionals at Battlefront do not need our help to make a videogame! They seem to know what they are doing.

Those posters have some class and know how to act. I am optimisitc about that title as well. It is far easier(understatement of the year) for a casual forum reader with limited time to go there, find and digest the game information and ideas there. Let Steve and company do their thing and let the normal folk read about their games without ****tin all over the place and your pants and making the rest of us smell it.

Aka_fanboy_w - Shut up. It may someday cross your mind that not everyone that has read or occasionly reads news about the games here feels the need to sign up and post drivel like yourself. Naturaly I am optimistic about the new and improved Combat Mission. While trying to find usefull information I grew annoyed at the enormous level or wasteful language and useless thoughts that I had to sift through for a nugget of info here and there. Stop posting unless you have something worth posting about fanboy. It makes it harder for those of us who don't have unlimted time to sift through the heaping pile of worthless posts for news about an upcomming game.

Wait for the demo to hatch; then discuss. The game designers do just that. Design games. If you are not on their payroll then shut up about your wants that you mistake as needs in a game of someone elses vision and design. The game designer could'nt care less about what you think. How many times does Steve have to tell you? Why does he even have to post that? Use your heads!

Steve; spare us the melodrama and reasons why you feel it's an absolute must to label indivuduals into groups that you can persecute or abuse. Especialy on a semi history orientated website; be it your own or anyone elses. Interchange the word Grog you throw around with Women or Jews if you don't understand what I saying here Battlefront.com. We dont care about your judgements on the people you group into groups. Stop wasting everyones time and get to work. You're a game designer; start acting like one. Chin up. If the unwashed like your little software project than they will buy it. Simple as that. You are a better than average game designer but a piss poor salesman in my own observation. Before you put off any more potential buyers just stop posting and work on the demo. Only then will there be something worth while to discuss. The rest of you - be patient. Either you will like the new game or you will not. It's out of your hands. Steve is the programmer not you.
