  1. Wow, that model looks great. I wonder if one could animate it and add it in-game. It is probably a stretch but I would love to be able to mod in new vehicles. Payware or not. Hell, I'd pay for a nice T-62, T-64, T-80, or T-90. Hell x 2, I would have payed extra for a T-55 but that is already in-game. lol
  2. -Destraex WWII Tank combat is excellent in WWII Online. You might want to check that one out if you are interested in that style of play in a very team oriented environment. I have been playing it since release and it has become a COMPLETELY different game. It went from being a total mess at release to probably one of the most immersive games I have ever played (if not THE most immersive game I have ever played). New graphics, new GUI, new vehicles, new weapons, stat based rank on a world scale, etc..,etc...Not to mention it is continually evolving and has one of the most dedicated communities I have ever been apart of or seen. It is simply amazing now.
  3. I think the screenshots look great. They have that gritty, war-torn look to them. I especially like #3 as well as #4.
  4. When I start up the game, after the intro I get the following error: The instruction at "0x01e63608" referenced memory at "0x01e63608". The memory could not be "read". Click ok to terminate the program. What is wierd is that I click "ok" and then the game loads up fine. I know I don't have any issues with my memory as it is brand new Corsair PC3200 C2PT and functions perfectly with ALL the other games I have tried (LOMAC, BF2, F4.0, F4:AF). No issues with anything except the T-72 demo. In fact, once I get past the error, everything runs fine (albeit somewhat slow IMO for the system I have) in the demo as well. IIRC, I also got the same error in the Russian demo as well (and that was a different system with different ram). Does this error actually mean it can't read my memory or is this just a bug in the demo? This could possibly be a cause for some of the lackluster performance some people are experiencing. Thx to anybody who can help me out. 5. I would also like to know. I have some ideas concerning different T-55 paint schemes as well as some new special features. I love the T-55. Can't wait to recieve my copy!
  6. I wouldn't mind seeing more detail on the AA gun in addition to what was mentioned above. I am only using the demo right now (just ordered my copy about 5 min ago), so I am not sure if the AA gun is more detailed in the full version. I would like to see the detail added to give it that more menacing look that it has.
  7. How do you put a price on the quality of a game without actually playing the full version? Demos are only a tiny tidbit of what a game is about and usually not totally indicative of the full version.
  8. Do either of these work with the demo by chance, Moon? (Since the Leopard mission is not functioning correctly) Thx! I'm about to order but I'd like to get a better feel for the game first.
  9. Darn, already reported. Oh well. Still great news!
  10. You know Chief Moon... There has not been a single tank simulator out there (that I know of at least) where a person can play in a t-62, 64, T-80U or T-90... you guys could corner the market in that genre and have an edge. Not to say anything agaist the Greatest Generation... I grew up with my Dad telling me all kinds of wonderful stories about WWII... but it seems to me that the game market is saturated with WWII games nowadays. It's too bad my Dad isn't around to see it... he'd be glued to the computer screen. Do me a favor guys... if BOF takes off (which I think it has a fair chance of doing) make at least ONE more modern Eastern Bloc tank sim before you go into a WWII frenzy... come on... just give it a try ok? No one has been able to play as the Soviets in a quality tank game. There is so much history behnd Russian tank designs that is always overlooked by western acheivement... PLEASE think about it okay? For us old Cold War Horses. </font>
  11. The Leopard in the demo came down the hill after I fired and missed it one time. However, after it came down the hill it just went forward a few feet and backed up a few feet, again and again. It never did fire at me, but it did travel down the hill.
