I've seen the noted Discovery Channel presentation, although it's been quite a while. I'd suggest that viewers take the results of the Tiger/Sherman "battle" with much more than a grain of salt. The tactics employed by both "sides" left much to be desired. I think that the entire scenario was designed simply to bolster the erroneous claim that the Sherman was the better tank.
