I dunno, seemed to make sense, but now I slap myself. I won't be driving any more Tigers in the snow, anyway. The Panthers just booked it right through, no problem! smile.gif

    I was playing the Americans defending and was suprised not to have any anti-tank mines? And on such a narrow road also - would have been a golden opportunity :( Also, I set the ambush at the first set of woods/trees - I did use the reverse slope - but not enough.

    Anyway, it was a total slaugther for my troops and I am suprised that they still let me command them ;) Well, those that are still alive.

    Thanks - didn't realise their was a whole CMBO etiquette!
  3. I would like to add two things also;

    1) Cant remember excatly what type of shot or what type of weapon it was but the Tiger in the tank musuem in Bovingdon UK was captured because a shot managed to 'weld' the turret to the superstructure, at the 'shot trap' - Apperently, the crew, because they couldn't rotate the turret, surrendered! Hope I have remebered this correctly?

    2) I never by Tigers in CMBO as they are not worth it. I always but 'Hetzers' as they have the same punch and are only 1/3 of the points. And more importantly seem to have the same type of chance head to head, as a Tiger. I suppose the major difference to Tiger in CMBO would be the crew? I haven't tested this but would imagine an 'elite' crew could fire the first shoot a lot quicker and also reload?

    Only my thoughts. smile.gif

    Great little fight - I'm really enjoying it smile.gif !

    As I am playing this against you - "What advantage did I have again?- I think I missed that one?" :confused:
  5. I know this isn't the right place for this but I am in the Tourney...

    As I haven't played by email before 'Will' has kindly offered a game with me, which we have started.

    The problem is Hotmail. When I download the file, Hotmail just opens the file in my webrowser. I then have to copy and paste it into notepad and save it.

    Is this right? Because I usually just save the file straight to disk. Have looked on Hotmail options but didnt find anything?

    You might be able to play tcp if your opponant is

    willing, but I doubt that many would since it is PBEM format. I would suggest that you find someone and do a couple of PBEM before then so that it will not be a problem at Tournament time, it is not hard but it does take a little getting use to. Sometimes getting files from someone can be a little challenging because of firewalls and such. </font>

  7. Does anyone every suffer the above when playing CM?

    If I zip around the battle field, scrolling in and out, up and down, for a longtime, then I start to feel a bit sick...

    I suppose its a bit like when I was a kid and travelled in my parents car...then puked up everywhere...

    Or am I just sensitive?
