All seems ok here. My games are progressing at a steady pace. Almost finished one map against Redbear, and about 1/3 of the way through the other two. Enjoying all 3 maps.Originally posted by dinga44:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />

Good to hear you might get some points. I'm still dissappointed you didn't get a chance to extract some revenge on me </font>

I'm posting this again to reiterate I'd like some feedback to help me narrow down the choice of which to release for round 2.Originally posted by Kingfish:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by Kingfish:
Feedback would be greatly appreciated, especially if it pertains to the size of the scenarios. Too small, Too big (doubtful), or just right?
I plan on having 6 scenarios ready for round 2, even though only 3 are needed. A couple will be similar in size to those currently in play, and they get progressively larger from there, with the biggest at 4x the points total. All will be 35 turns or less, and yes you will have variety in terms of mission, forces, terrain and weather.
I now have 7 scenarios to choose from. A couple are again at 1000 pts per side, and they get progressively bigger in both points total and map size, with the largest at 4500/3500 on a 2km x 2km map.
Forgot to mention, make sure your feedback does not compromise FOW for the games still in progress. Just keep it general. </font>

I've finished, so any for me!!Originally posted by Bert Hamoen:To avoid spoilers and/or an unfair (dis)advantage for some of the players we would have to know first which of the 3 scenarios have all finished before we start discussing them.
I just finished the "devil" scenario and Mackay's Fortress is in its last few turns. The 3rd game however is just at halfstage, so will take some time to finish.
So, Sly, which scenario is safe to discuss ?
-
Looks like once again I will be the first to finish - eventhough there are no points for this!
One turn left with Crow, as he charges for the flags!
Hey, guys hope this forum hots up after games are in for discssions??

Yes, Crow was really wondering what type of weapon could do that.
I would say that was a little over adcheiving for a faust.

Yep sure did but didn't get anywhere - I would love to post the picture of me taking out a AFV at 196yards with a panzerfaust! against crowOriginally posted by slysniper:Does anyone in the group have the setup to post photos here at this site, it would be fun to maybe post a few shots as we get close to wraping up round one. I know I have never bothered with getting it to work.
Bert has a Hero story he would like to post, there might be a few others.
Major Tum tried another page last time, I do not think that went far, but I never did check to see where it finished at.

Hope we meet in round 2 :mad:Originally posted by dinga44:Hey everyone. All games progressing well at this stage. It's great to have the tourney going again and my wife once again hates the amount of time I'm now spending on the computer and "that stupid game" as she so lovingly refers to it. Ah, it's good to be back in familiar territory
-
All scenario's running - and welcome Costard!

Or we could forward briefings AND let everybody start with units where they are? We would all have the same advantages/disadvantages? Would be easier than you having to stop the tourney and start again?Originally posted by slysniper:I have set up the game files, incorrectly. All of them.
Everyone needs to stop until I can send out new files with it set up so both players get to have a set up phase, sorry guys.
What was I thinking
Or factor something into the scores?
-
Sly I sent my file to crow but the others (x2) i receive do not start with a briefing? Is this the case?
-
Funny but its really not about wining scenario i.e getting the flags.
Its about inflicting maximum damage and if you get a flag, then its a bonus. Kill, kill and kill is gonna be my motto this time. And I suppose its about the kill ratio as well so:
A good kill ratio plus bonus flags?
What do you guys think?
