Best played as German, American or PBEM? How many turns?

During my on going AAR at MZO, I have found out you need to keep a tight unit fromation in a woods fight. Also to have HQs near by within command radius. The infantry us alot of grenades. Also that mortors are useless.
What is your experience?

Found out they where telephone. I was informed if a raio is not indicated it is telephone.

What size vehical is needed to transport a spotter? I tried it in my on going AAR at MZO and the 105 spotter would not embark on a German HT 251 emty. That track was caring a mortor and plt hQ originally.

I would like to have these Pacific mods. How will are the Japanese portrait. In many of the fights few prisoners were taken.SPAW best handles this theater.I still like to see Battle Front do a Pacific Theater game or atlest an add-on. The could use the same engine as CMAK, give the Japanese a fantic rating of 90%.
If to play the mods require me to do a dual install, I am out of luck, Need larger hard drive.

If ya have not registered there and logged in please do and when I break between turns please post any comments or question you might have. Also pass the word to other interesting parties or clubs, there are other great AARS at the War Colledge, it is semester 4, right BD?
We are also trying to put together a campaign for CMBB. We could use some help and Ideas.

I have found that that the game is great for the comic book style I use. All one needs is a good screen capture program and MS paint program and you are in buiness.
The hardest part is going over the play back a dozen times or more looking for interesting shots of the action. Stop the action then zooming in on the action from different angles.
Then tying the sequence of shots into a story giving the figures thier script. A great intro and mission breif helps. I will try to get the next turn out tonight.

I am presently gathering data on the battle of Stalingrad. I presently designed a map of the Tractor works. After seeing an aerial Photo, I must redo it. The Tactor Factory, Red Barracades Gun Factory and the Red October Factory will be done in that order. I stll have not decided where an operation or battle. I did just finish a scenario, The Road to Stalingrad, which is my adaption of a SPWAW Campaign based on a hypothetical Kampfem Grouppe .

I am presently working on a Tractor Factory map 2000m wide and 4000m long. I have some aerial Photos of this factory. The buildings are in Germans and I am geting them translated. Posted at the Mzo site.

Steel Pathers World at War ver.7.0
Great turn base tactical, not as good as CMBB or CMAK. It has great organiztional for campaigns, The one weakness of CM games. It also features Pacfic Theater. Well try to covert some of there scenarios to CMBB
Total War Shogun:
Great strategical and real time tactical fighting for the Shogunate of Japan. Love those Samurai.
Total War Medevil and Vikings expansion: Great strategical and real time tacical of Medevil Europe.
The there is Commando 1 and 2, not played much.
Space flight Sim combat :Free Space
Still old favorite Red Baron flight sim
American Civil War, Strategical
SSG Ardennes Offence (TAO)
Matrix War in Russia and Pacific War Strategical not played much
