  1. No.  It is up to him to find us.  On another note, I have sent a setup on Kneiber Dam to this guy. I'm the Soviets defending the dam. I have to say that this map looks quite interesting. One of my very first PBEMs in ages. We'll see what happens. I had two TCPs the last weekend. Only suffered Total and Major defeats respectively. So I've started off with a blast, then.
  2. Hi, I was looking for the ruleset that I recall having heard of. It was a long time ago so I can't remember who it was by... Maybe you could help ? This ruleset aimed at making the armour fights more equal by disallowing the use of superior tanks of their time. For an example KV in the early stages was not to be used by the Soviet player because it was unkillable by the German tanks of that early period. I would be interested in getting a hold of this ruleset so I could study it and use it in my future QBs. So if anyone of you had a clue as to what I was talking about, I would appreciate any help ! Also, if you are aware of such a ruleset I'd like to ask if you are using it ? And what kind of experiences do you have, does it balance the play at all ? Cheers
  3. I suppose it depends on what are you interested the most - CMBB with its Eastern Front or CMAK with North Africa and Italy ? As far as I'm concerned there aren't any major differences under the hood, so I suppose it boils down to which theater interests you more. After CMBO I was thirsty for some Eastern Front action, and even though I own both BB and AK, I find myself playing only BB.
  4. With this one I would make an exception. Dave H displays characteristics (such as the ability to form coherent sentences) that are beyond most Americans. I am impressed. He would be most welcome in Finland.
  5. You may stay were you are. Should you need assistance in maintaining your position, we will send paratroops to aid you. All three of them. And by commercial airlines to confuse the enemy. (And to disguise the fact that we don't have the capability to cross the Atlantic in our airforce.)  Which is the nearest international airport to you ?
  6. I like you, Dave H. I couldn't have said it better myself.  Mercy is for the weak. No place for the weak in this thread.  Have you considered a job with the Finnish military ? We could use a man of your talent, of your disposition.
  7. What else is new, you maggot? Bet you do that each time you battle, too.
  8. It's not like there has been much in the way of evolution in your name, either. I don't think.  The other option was my rank in the military in Finnish, but you silly foreigners would not have understood what it meant. I'm very tired with my work. It's such a blast delivering newspapers at 3 am. Very stimulating intellectually. Glad I'm not doing this for a living.
  9. Wasn't that the battle at the railroad station? It seems that fight was the one where I was tenaciously defending the wrong flag. Silly me, I thought the railroad station was tactically more important than a patch of brush some distance away from the rail yard. Ooops! I recall losing some T-34s to some gamey panzers in very humiliating firefights - I recollect that your tanks were the only ones that actually fired! </font>
  10. I still reminisce fondly my great victory over you, Dave H. Like a friend of mine used to quote this crappy horror movie: "I am reb  rn." Is the no-good maggot-wannabe MasterBadAle still around ??? [ June 25, 2005, 06:31 PM: Message edited by: Prinz Eugen_2 ]
