5th SS Pz markings for Sd251 gelb series mods.
UncleTgt replied to UncleTgt's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
OK, a grau Flak 18 (with shieldless option), & a hasty whitewash Flak 18 are up @ www.cmmods.com ... & whilst we're on the subject of Flak, I've also posted a hasty whitewash set of flaktrucks. Based on Marco Bergman & Gordon Moleks grau flakpack, so all the credit to them for a great start point. Includes the Quad 20mm & 37mm ground mounts, as they share some bmps ... -
5th SS Pz markings for Sd251 gelb series mods.
UncleTgt replied to UncleTgt's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Next on the list, just finishing off playing with Marco Bergmans & Gordon Moleks flaktracks pack, giving that the hasty whitewash treatment. Once they're posted, I'm on to it - Thinking of using your CMAK Flak 18 as the base - is that OK by you? -
A couple of requests for SS markings for the tri-colour Sd251 halftracks, so the quickest way I could figure was to replace 20th Pz Div. shield with one from 5th SS Pz. "Wiking", & change the licence plate prefix ... Uploaded at www.cmmods.com as single pack. Beware, to keep the download size small, it just contains the relevant bmps to replace heer markings with SS, so you need to have downloaded & installed my tricolour gelb Sd251's ... ... otherwise it'll just look plain silly

Forgot to post ... I uploaded an old steppe mod I did using Strontium Dog's CMBO grass as the start point ... www.cmmods.com

UncleTgt replied to UncleTgt's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
"Cloud" pattern Sd251/1 ausf D & Sd251/10 Ausf D up at www.cmmods.com The -10 has a cut down gunshield, or doorknocker without any shield as an option. Both have 20th Pz markings to tie in with the other gelb 251's. -
Someone asked for the rest of the 251 series in the style of my gelb 3 tone sd251/9 & 16, so I tried an ambush camo 251/2 as a variation on a theme ... ... find it at www.cmmods.com

Lucky Strikes Panther A (early)

Hey, no problem. Regarding the 3rd company's poor shooting - have you tried tweaking their quality? -
Lucky Strikes Panther A (early)
UncleTgt replied to UncleTgt's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Aragorn, I don't think it's possible. I think the hard coded 3D model for the Pz VA doesn't have a separate location that you can place the skirt bmp onto. The Pz VA (early) does have a separate bmp location. Think of it as a canvas that the game projects a painting onto. The only way I can think of getting a PzVA with a skirt is to paint it on over the hull side, suspension & wheel bmp, & I'm guessing it just won't look right. The only other differences between Pz VA & Pz VA early is the bow mg mount, & the hull top needs tweaking to fit (longer mudguards, & a different location for the forward hull top. This is because of how the game projects the bmp onto the 3D model.). Does CMAK have a Pz V early? Couldn't you just use early PzVA in the Norrey scenario as a trade off? -

sooo sorry... Well spotted KG_Jag I've uploaded a correct version of T37/T38 ... guess late SAT night is not the best time to go "multitasking" then ... won't try that again any time soon -

For those working on a Norrey battle (you know who you are ), I've adapted the Panther A mod I posted at Zimorodok's site & posted the early version, complete with skirts @ CMMODs. It's in the CMBB section, as I've only tried it out in CMBB, though I understand the 3D model is the same in CMAK. Hope it's what you were looking for ...

Does anyone have contact with Uncle Tgt?
UncleTgt replied to David I's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Aragorn2002 I was concentrating on early war winter stuff ... I don't own CMAK, & did the mod for CMBB, but I understand the 3D model is the same for both games. Do you want another of Lucky Strike's BO Panther mods converting, or just the one I used altering to fit the early Panther VA (complete with skirts)? Anyway, don't forget Gurra's recent panther mods, I think they take some beating  Get them at Zimorodok's site -

German Pz38t MOD Update
UncleTgt replied to UncleTgt's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
No Junk, it's just the TV's rubbish (only soaps for my better half to become addicted to), the weather's no good & by the time I get in it's too late to fire up CMBB & become engrossed, so I fiddle around with vehicle bmps (jeez, how sad does that sound!) German Pz38t MOD Update
UncleTgt replied to UncleTgt's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Thanks, But remember that they are mainly other peoples' work that I just play around with, trying to cover gaps in the vehicle range (ie lesser german allies) or trying to get a variation on the "pristine, just out of the field-workshop" whitewash look for winter. Anyway, for those interested, I've posted some more winter mods @ CMMODS. Started off with the early war PzIII series (F to H)
