  1. Just wondering if there's any indication of when the (first?) patch is due out, and what will be in it.
  2. Never mind, found 'em. My edited versions are going up on CMMODS even as we speak.
  3. As long as I'm still thinking about music (see the Lili Marlene thread), does anyone have any leads to "Waltzing Matilda" and/or "Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit Bag"? I spent all yesterday downloading (on a 56K modem!) and listening to some thoroughly horrible versions of "Matilda." These ranged all the way from New Christy Minstrels-type, screw-around-with-the-melody versions, to a lounge-lizard jazz rendition. I figure a good CMAK version would probably sound like it was being sung in a bar (or at least around a campfire). Any suggestions?
  4. My version of the Lili Marlene March is now up on CMMODS; so far, 17 folk have downloaded it. It works great as CMAK intro music, and is probably the second-best version of the tune (not the song) I've ever heard (the best, oddly, was the intro music for a C-64 game about the Bismark, a good 15 years ago).

  6. I'm attempting right now to upload a mod I just did of this version. Got hold of a music editor and took out the opening and closing orchestral pieces, so only the song is left. It's really a catchy little march version, after the concertina intro. It's still mp3, ~3.2 MB. (This is my first attempt at uploading to CMMODS, and I seem to be stuck at the "Sending Request" stage. I may have to try again, later; keep on the lookout for LiliMarleneMarchMP3.zip.) 8. Mine just showed up, as well. No wonder! I looked at the return address (Williston, Vermont) and found I live 40 miles away! If they'd told me, I would have saved them the postage.
  9. I have the "Email me through the board" option checked. If you get 'hold of me that way, I'll give you my "real" email address. Explanation: I got caught in the MS Blaster mass-mailing. Didn't get infected, but had to fight off several hundred infected spams per day. Now, some spammer has just broken the mung on my Usenet posting address so I'm not anxious to publicly post my Forum address. [A few minutes later -- Never mind. I found it via a Google search. Warning!!! There seem to be several sites from which it can be downloaded. The first one I tried, the download had an extra extension so I ran like hell. The second one looked OK, and I ran it through my AV software immediately after download.] [ October 31, 2003, 05:09 AM: Message edited by: beady ]
  10. Is there another source for this program? The Rage3d web site has two download sites, one of which won't let me in, and the other refuses a connection. Is there anyone who can email it to me? [ October 30, 2003, 06:44 PM: Message edited by: beady ]
