No, you can't have dep on... It's either on or off. If it's on that service won't function.

No that would not of helped, I just finished solving the issue with elicense techs and apparently that service wont function correctly at this time if DEP is active, to solve it I had to turn off DEP. So the game runs fine now, but its annoying that you can't have DEP on. Since it prevents functions of that particular service.

looks like thats it, I went and tried to start it manually, but i got...Could not start the LicCtrl Service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not repond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. that error... any ideas?

Well I'm thinking it's something to do with e-license... is there a separate e-license software? all other drivers are fine...

No thats not it, just tried on other pc, and it launched the license screen...

What I don't understand is i can get demo to run but not the game of the CD that i got. Maybe my install on the CD is corrupt? if so is there a way to re/dl or get a new CD?

I installed it and got 1.6 and it won't run when i start it up nothing happens... running 5200 x2 2gb corsair xms ati 1650pro 256 win xp pro sp2
