Clearly, that is not a rock. It is, in fact, an oversized fruit from the tree on the right. The car nudged into the tree at about 2km/h, and the shock was enough to dislodge the fruit. What happened next should be obvious.
Which is precisely why I never plant stone fruit trees near where I park my car. Silly landscapers.
And why the flying monkey poo am I now imported? I am fecking domestic! As evident by my ability to use the loo and the selection of beer in my fridge..Coors and Racer 5.

Gawd, you suck!!! Having just dropped close to $5/ gallon, I hate you more.Originally posted by Stuka:The 2500 gets about 8 mpg too, not that thats a big worry with gas around 85 cents a gallon... but still...
Sorry Boo, no turn for you. Spent what little time I had filling myself with beer....to my detriment this morning. Have ye tried Sierra Nevada's Harvest Ales? Quite nice but the size is odd...22 ounces. One is not enough, 2 is too much and 3 is not near enough.

Turn out at the same blistering pace....d/l turn on zip, take home at the end of the day, upload to desktop, play turn, load saved file on zip, sleep, go work next morning, send file*, rinse and repeat.....except next week, heading to Portland Tuesay, Wednesday and Thursday.Originally posted by Boo Radley:If you're bored, you could always send me a turn
Suppose I should get that internet thingy at home.........

Chop, chop. Did you try updating your drivers like the man said?
Barring that, I do have Shock Force and haven't played that much.
So fix or do sumfink, monkey!

Abbott,
When you are done...er, attending to business, send me one of those set-up thingies as well.

Are you out of your feckin' mind? Never have those words been spoken sober.Originally posted by Abbott:Bud, the KING of beers! I enjoy an ice cold Bud on occasion myself, sometimes there is nothing better.

Is that a power cord hanging off the little monkey? Like those damn little munchkins need more energy.
Abbott,
Still playing CMBB or CMAK. Tried CMSF, even got so far as mocking up a stadium/ campus scenario but the AI planning/ triggers got really tedious and didn't work at all how I was imagining it. Pretty much walked away from SF for the tranquil forests of Europe.

Holy crap Abbott, I just clicked on your Motorhome link....you are one industrious skeeter.
Do you make your own meth as well or does the local stuff do the trick?

Mind you, I know abso-freaking-lutely nothing about Carolina...North, South, East or West but a quick craigslist search around Durham shows these two:Originally posted by SturmSebber:I have a serious question:
My sister has been invited to work on a project at Duke univ. in North Carolina. However, she is only going to stay 3 months and needs to seek a place to stay.
Her budget is limited to only 1200 dollar monthly for 3 months.
She is looking for a simple, but furnished appartment with high-speed internet , and if possible with nearby acces to public transport since she won't have a car.
She'll have to work on the EAST campus.
If anyone can help, it would be very appreciated!

Boo, I haven't gotten to plotting your doom and I feel awful about it...no wait, I feel awful because of the large amounts of wine, beer, and rum filtered through my kidneys this weekend.
But you are some where down on the bottom of the list of things I feel bad about.
-
Boo that CMAK is just as good....supposing you can find a spot in the shade with a spot or two of grass. Delicate skin requires that I stay out of direct sunlight....and the pounding headache I usually awake to every morning.
And the only thing I will be holding is my beer.

Joe,
You itching for a scrum, sparky? Or do you just have free time on your hands ever since the orderlies took the remote control away from you in the activity room, thereby depriving you of your beloved 'Matlock', 'Golden Girls' and 'Murder She Wrote' episodes?
-
hhhmmm....Unauthorized = not conforming to rules....which means any jackass can post.....so I will.
Boo you noodle-headed, acrimonious, Akronian, there was a time we battled. First in go-carts and then with pixel-truppen. Alas, that epic struggle was lost to the ages. I challenge you to duel to end all duels. A chance to show the world that you really are the limp-wristed, poofy, ponce you pretend to be. Knock the dust off your copy of CMBB, fire it up and prepare to suffer. Again the terms are no armor better than armored car and no farking snow. We hates the farking snow.

What is there to debate?Originally posted by Pvt. Ryan:That would open up a whole charcoal vs. propane debate.
Only fags and Canadians use propane.

This game will be crap if we don't have horses with sidecars.

And who would take 'guy in red shirt' unit versus the uber-Spock unit? Load up on McCoys and Kirks FTW!!!!!Originally posted by Sequoia:Please no Star Wars of Star Trek suggestions. Such licenses would cost a fortune and the ground combat in those was dumb anyway.

Personally, getting out of the desert would make me so freakin' pleased. Between CMAK and CMSF, I have sand coming out of my cd drive. Time, forces, action, back story are all lower on my priority list than terrain.Originally posted by Michael Dorosh:snipped a bunch of crap that was a factual, well argued point against the proposed idea but wasn't what I wanted to hear. So I choose to ignore it.

I know that, Sequoia. But a girl can dream, yes?

You have arrived.Originally posted by DzrtFox:By the way, reading back over this thread I thought I'd point out that I finally feel like I'm officially a member of the Battlefront community now that I've started my first thread that contains a Dorosh off-topic debate!
I am secretly hoping that all these 'modules' will allow us pick and choose units from different nations and pit them against each other, regardless of when they actually fought. Something like Firepower . How many front line 1960's Pakistani troops would take to defeat a platoon sized force of mid-80's Spetsnaz*? Or sumfink lik dat.
I can never find anyone with the A)time or patience to sit and play a round of Firepower.
*wiki has informed me that there be lots of different Spetsnaz units but I stand by my previous statement despite this.

I am still playing CMAK....and I hate the friggin' desert. All the sand and dust....feh. But the trinkets....oh my, what pretty clankies. Even the fugly clankies are fun to push around.

Can't such things be recreated with the tools all ready in game? i.e. reinforcements (random or otherwise) dropped on the map at various locations, like the 'Red Parachutes' scenario from CMBB plus throwing in some minor modifications on the fixed wing aircraft to mimick helo strafing runs?
Of course, I have zero programming skilz so any 'minor' modifications are really easy to do. Chop, chop you lazy pricks.

Wow, kinda harsh JoMc67.
FragerZ,
L/71 has to do with the barrel length, the higher the number the longer the barrel. The longer the barrel, the more accurate the gun. All approximations of course.
SP arti units are a mixed bag. The 150's are great against soft targets but not so good against armor. Think high explosive and generally not so accurate. You need to look at ammo type to see if you have a chance against armor. But the game chooses which ammo type to load so that part is really out of your hands. Generally the 75mm and 88mm are your most effective anti-tank weapons but 50mm can be used with caution.
Hope that helps.
......and what Kingfish said

If by 'Re-active' you mean a giant fireball, followed by a smoldering hulk that used to be a tank....then you won't be disappointed.Originally posted by MarkEzra:Come on Re-active Armor!! Pleassssse!!!
