Has anybody been having a serious go at creating "North Africa" QBs with cmbb equipment yet? Does it work? For example the "British" could have Matilda II's/Valentines/Stuarts etc, versus German and Italian armour on flattish treeless brown steppe to simulate open desert. Sure it'd look odd to see Russian crews posing as Brits,but what the heck! And it'd be a good way of getting a feel for each AFV's capabilities long before CMAK arrives..

I've long felt the frontal armour of the Hetzer is a little too unrealistically impenetrable,no doubt the steep slope plays too big a part. However,the Hetzer has two Achilles Heels which can be exploited- Its side/rear armour isn't so hot,and it lacks a turret...

I'm in the UK and have cmbb v 1.0 and intend patching through 01/02/03 but have fallen at the first hurdle because 01 won't d/load. A forum search shows other people had the same prob and seem to have been helped out by forum pals,but i don't know anybody as this is my first post.I shall ask CDV for advice but I'm surprised they haven't sorted things out yet.
