In fact there are not only tournaments but Campaigns as well.

I think the games won't be outdated until CMx2 comes out.

No one ever said that the game was dead, and I for sure will probably buy CMC when it's here, but I'm not sure we are enough for making a "market" for the game. They will need a lot of new players so I think it's essential to give CMBB a face lift.
  2. I do agree! The times when compuper related things has it's own marketing logic is probably gone. Time to study some marketing beside C++ I guess.

And, as someome mentioned, it's stupid not to uppgrade CMBB! To reuse an old game without fixing all the things that easily can be fixed (at least up to CMAK standard) is just plaín crazy. People should want to play CMBB as well as CMC if this should be a succes.

Tried that too, don't work for me. :(

BTW - feels like the T-34 is a little bit to likely to be bogged. German wheeled vheicles drives around on a cornfiel in November and my hunting T-34 bogged on the very same ground. redface.gif

  4. Wow! A brilliant idea, is you the sole inventor or is it inspired by the CMC?

Can it be easier to administrate for the GM if players use "Kampaign Tracker" - perhaps a fruitful kombination?

Just a coupel of humble questions: Is 2x2 km battlemaps a suitable size for a regimental kampaign? 1x1 km is pretty small if there is armour involved.

What is your experience about the size of the OP-map? 30x30 km is perhaps not enough if things moves with 5 km/h and armor with 10 km/h on roads?

    Thanks for the idea!

  5. JasonC; Hard word but interesting comments.

I participating in CMMC2 because I think it could be fun to play in a more realistic situation than a scenario in CM will provide. I understand that actually "playing" is a smal part of it and as an BC you don't really play very often.

You said that you been in other campaings, is there any websites where I can see how they were organized? What does it take, in your oppinion, to make a "good" campaign?

Personally I think that CMMC2 is a too big project and perhaps takes too long time to finish. Perhaps it could be more interesting if it was played in divisional size?

Thanks for your offer. I think it's a good idea to put the updated version om your download site - thanks in advance.

Unfortunatly I seems to run into trouble, because I have a swedish language version of Office and your program prompt for English version. Maybee I have to wait - sooner or later I have to upgrade to XP and then I have to make a choice about what language I should use.

  7. Hi!

This is a great tool! Perfect if you want to make a small campaign for a little circle of friends.

I get a little confuced when I visit the web-site for downloading. Since I use Win98SE and don't have Axcess installed, I really don't understand what options I should use. Option 3 seams too small and should perhaps be combined with some other option?

Sorry for beíng stupid but can any kind soul please write down the steps to take here? Thanks in advance!

I had a question about that some time ago, and the forum came to the conclusion that it was not a god idéa for scenario construction; because the AI will see what you are doing as well and react according to that.

Sad, because it could have been a wonderful tool :(

    BTW - extreme!

  9. Hi!

Not political correct and I hope I don't get banned; but I find myself a cracked exe-file and now I happily played my CMBB without having the trouble with the CD constantly occupying my PC.

And don't have to worry about having it damaged every time I move it.
