  1. Never mind guys. I should have known to check the anthology.
  2. Does anyone remember seeing on the forums how to disable the big bang sound as you exit the game? I remember seeing it once, but now I can't find it.
  3. Thanks to everyone who responded. I have plenty of opponents now. Feel free to e-mail if you would like to play sometime in the future.
  4. Looking for someone to play 3-4 turns per week, if possible. I would like to play with someone relatively new or a veteran that's willing to give a lesson. Send me an E-Mail if interested.
  5. I also had problems playing with a friend using hotmail. I would suggest using a different account, such as yahoo.
  6. Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm currently pretty stocked up with opponents, but if you'd like to send an e-mail I'll try to set up a game with you @ a later date.
  7. Hello again everyone! Just got back into the game after a 6 month absence. Nice to see the forums are as great as ever. Anyone interested in a game let me know. I'm a poor player, but don't mind losing and I have plenty of enthusiasm. fogrob@yahoo.com
  8. Sounds good Dandelion. That web site you linked was really cool. I like that they had multiple players and GM's involved. If anyone else is interested please let me know.
  9. That sounds good. Bye that time I should have a little more experience under my belt as well. I would hate to not be much of a challenge.
  10. Before I got into computer gaming, I was a big 40K fan. The thing I miss is the ongoing campaigns against a human opponent. Where the outcome of each battle affects the type of battle you have next time along with the troop types. Also I think having all this mapped would be rather cool as well. I'm extremely new at cm, (perhaps a month now) but if anyone knows about anything like this, or would be interested, let me know.
  11. I started with cmbo last night and I really like it. Although I've lost the tutorial twice now (due to my tanks both being ko'd by turn 5) I still think it's a lot of fun. I've also installed both of mad dogs packs. Makes the game look really good.
  12. Thanks for the info guys. The good news is that the game arrived today! Even better is that it's my day off! I've finished reading the manual and am getting ready to patch up and attempt the tutorial. I did notice that there's not a chart listing troop stats in the book. Is there a chart somewhere online?
  13. I just ordered the bundle pack and can't wait to play. I just have one question...should I play cmbo first and then head on to cmbb? I was considering loaning one to my buddy in order to get him hooked on it as well. Anyway, can't wait to play some of you! Sorry one last thing...how indepth is the manual for both games?
