When you are buttoned up you are virtually blind. Trust me I have been there. You run into all kinds of things. Your gun tube smacks trees, bushes, and other vehicles ( I hate to admit it). Besides the gunner scanning you virtually have no means of enemy detection except through your tiny vision blocks which get covered in mud or fog up when it is cold or damp out.

The latest U.S. LAW is a disposable recoilless weapon based on the (88mm?) Carl Gustaf. not sure on relationship of the design with the Gustav but the LAW is just about not part of the inventory anymore. The M136 and the Javelin have taken over. But just recently I have seen all three deployed in the same brigade.

I have a actual picture of one from a musuem in Normandy, France. Not much to the little thing. Will post it here as soon as I find my disk with the pic.

AH 1914 or even Guns of August we failures, never did find a good wargame for that period. As for Tactics2 I loved that game and that was what started my interest many years ago.

I would buy it for the simple fact I have been waiting for a COS2 since 1991... now lets see if any body in here remembers that little jewel from the early 90's

The ultimate Global WW2 game I can remember was WIF (World in Flames) and all the expansions. Very detailed. Took me and a buddy in college 3 days to get to 1942 and we were burned out! thank god for computers...
