  1. This would be soooo cool in CM- Hitler proposed a super-heavy tank powered by 4 U-Boat engines, with a short 80cm gun, with other smaller ones. It probably had a restroom and a cafeteria, too.
  2. Why don't the Soviet infantry divisions get 50mm mortars, but divisions like the a/b do?
  3. The Soviet MGMC is obviously lendlease- It has the track assembly of a Sherman, and uses .50 Cals. How come the U.S. Doesn't have them in CMBO?
  4. I also like the story of the Sherman knocking out a King Tiger with a smoke shell. The crew thought they were on fire.
  5. Do tracers ever set trees on fire when it is dry?
  6. No, you cannot fight in sewers. Sewer movement stinks! You lose contact with them and it takes 5-7 minutes to cross a street!
  7. Why do the 122 and 152s both load the cartridge seperately from the shell? This seems like a really stupid mistakes from the designers (of the guns, that is ). Why must they load seperately, if things like Hummels don't have to?
  8. Where you playing Korsuv strikes back (I think thats the name- Something like that)? I had an 88 that got 9 T34s and a KV1!
  9. What's everyone's funniest CMBB moment? My top ranking is my own 25AA knocking out a Brummbar from the front.
  10. Does anybody know why the phase these out? They're good!
  11. Actually, the thing about the 37 "popping" like the others isn't really about any affect on infantry, somebody just told me that when a 37 round penetrates armor, it pops(The round explodes). Things such as 45s are solid shot, and don't.
  12. What do people think of the Soviet 37 AA? It's awesome! I had one (on the defense) that took no casualties itself, but cause 33 infantry cas., killed 1 mortar, and a flak vehicle! The only problem- They're REALLY expensive for flak guns (like 60 points, veteran).
  13. Everybody is always talking about it! What in the world is it?
  14. Does anyone think snipers are very effective at picking off TCs at long range? That seems like what they're supposed to do.The only time I've really ever seen this happen effectively is when a sniper fired at a Pz. 3 from about 300 meters. I heard BANG!.......CLANG!Ahhhhh! Very satisfying!
  15. I'd probably get 4-5 aa guns in a 1000 point QB. However, I usually don't get tows for them. Also, not getting tows lets you get more in the first place or spend the points on a more necessary unit. If you're the Germans, I'd get 20 quads. Soviets, probably 37s, though 25s are very cheap.
  16. Those things are built like a rock! One of mine took two near misses (about 1-2 meters away) from two 550 bombs, and the crew was just alerted!
  17. Can anyone figure out why Ba 10s cost less than 6s but are faster, and have more armor?
  18. After 1942, 85 AA guns lose AP ammo. This seems awfully weird, as it has very good penetration. What happened?
  19. Whenever a TH throws a Cocktail, the animation shows it passing through the tank and breaking on the ground, usually leaving the tank unharmed. It seems it would be a lot more effective if it actually broke on the tank itself.
  20. Yep-I once did Romania vs. Romania
  21. Me and my friend have this huge battle going where we both pick a large force of units (about a regiment) and then set them up on a "strategic board", sort of like a boardgame. We then make our moves, and when two units clash, we play out the battle on a CM map with the opposing forces. Could you do some kind of battle like this for a tournament? We call it the "Whoopdedoo". That'd be a cool tournament.
  22. Has anybody ever tried using Soviet MGMC Halftracks? They have 4 Remote MGs. They annihalate infantry!
  23. Does anybody know why the soviets stop using BA 10s and 6s in '43 or '44(I forget which)? They're good for armored cars and seem like one of the best units in the Soviet vehicle category(except for the MGMC AA Vehicle).
