I am looking at the unit database and it lists faust in the unit equiptment for 1941 German units, can anyone confirm this? I would swear they were not made till 42.
-
German infantry list a Faust AT weapon on 1941, what is this, some type of thrown grenade? Everything I have read indicates that the Panzerfaust 30 was not developed untill 1942 and I cannot find any grenade in 1941 going by the name of Faust?

The battles in the demo were pretty bad imho, controls are fine though, very easy to use.

How about more info?

Hey what's up Optimus

Here is a great mod site, lets yo see the origional versions and mod versions all at once, very nice.

So what types of move are the most tiring?
Assault
Advance
Run
Sneak
Contact
Move
in that order? Which am I missing?

How is everyone feeling about this? Do the points seem fair for most of the PBEM games you have played? Attacking is much harder now and I am wondering if a lot of people are finding that they need more points to have a fair chance of winning as the attacker? (I personally need more points ehn I attack but I am not very good )
Second question, do many people use towed guns without a tow vehicle when attacking? A lot of larger unit organizations come with them and I was wondering how effective they are without a tow vehicle.

IMHO troops tire too easily, I was in the military, 11B at Fort Benning so I have a little experience, now it was a few years ago but the guys do seem to tire fast, people don't seem to be taking the whole adrenaline factor into consideration, I was only getting shot at with MILES gear and I was worked up a lot, I can't imagine how hyped up you would be in real combat, that's a lot of extra energy.

Cool whats the ETA on that? Sounds great.

Buy whatever infantry you want, they have never reaily bothered me.
-
One thing I do to try and keep quick battles realistic is to make an agreement with the other player to only buy units that are 20% OR 50% or whatever rarity, that keeps the units pretty historical.
-
Too bad it is always me good tank that gets the down adjustment ;(
-
Each tank was bouth individualy, try it out buy 6 tanks in a quick battle, some will have different quality.
-
Casualty setting is none, this has actually happened to me in 2 different games, maybe there is some kind of random chance you don't get the troop experience you bought built into the game?
PS I just did a quick battle, casualty setting to none, bought all tanks for both sides, all regular and there does appear to be some kind of random chance you will not get the quality you bought, I had mostly regular but also 1 or 2 vet or green tanks on both sides.

I have a question how come when I buy a tank with regular experience it comes out green?

I am reading Panzer Aces by Franz Kurowski and this struck me as interesting:
"The 6th Panzer Division's tank situation early on the morning of 10 July (1943) was as follows: 5 Panzer IIs, 17 Panzer IIIs Long, 5 Panzer IIIs Short, 10 Panzer IVs, 2 command tanks, 3 flamethrower tanks, and 5 captured T-34s."
What struck me as strange was real life info compaired to what you would find in 99% of the quick battles we play, who would ever buy Panzer IIs in a 1934 quick battle? Now I know most people already know this but the majority of quick battles we play are a joke when you look at the units involved.

Think I have it now

Let me know the answer when you get it, I have the same problem, I am able to add the the rule-sets but my mods screen is blank, I try to point to the zip files from the mods screen and nothing happens. Sorry but I can make much out of the readme. Oh also I can see the mods I want on the main screen but they are crossed off like it can't find the zip file on the mod screen (which it can't because it won't let me point to it?) Very frustrating

Need some help, I was playing an earily war battle BT7 vs 38t and I was suprised by how much better the 37mm is against armor than the 45mm, why is that? They have the same velocity and I would think the 45mm would be a bigger shell, What am I mssing. Thanks

Wow look I have a logon at work and at home, did not realize I did that. Anyway, what I meant to say was how does the penetration table for the US 37mm at gun from CMBO compair to the table for the German 37mm from CMBB?

Actually the gunner tells the driver when to stop for a hull down position since he can tell when the gun clears by looking through his sights, at least that's how it was done 10 years ago.

I am playing the scenario where the tank heavy Russian force attacks the German units in the big factory and my PBEM opponent said it took him 3 fausts to take out one of my BA-10s, that is what started me thinking. So I check the database and it does say Faust for 41 units, ect ect, maybe you can only have in a premade games but that still doesn't seem right if they were nat invented till 42.
