  1. The North of England is gone. There are no planes left. October, 40: Worse and worse. I almost thought he cheated...How could he take Spain without me knowing it. He didn't. They joined. The readiness is not moving very well for me. Their finest hour looks grim.
  2. The lower half of england is swarming with troops and an Italian HQ, as well as a german HQ. He has, I believe 5 air fleets. There are troops ready to land everywhere. I have few fleets left. Where is Russia? But the Readiness is changing, finally.
  3. Swarming....London will surely fall.... The problem with the Dutch gambit is if you don't do it just right, the French will fall too soon. I put up a better fight than I thought I could, but the readiness is so very low. But I didn't do the gambit right and the Italian readiness built up fast. Now Rambo and his fat hobbit troops are on my shores. It is going to be very dicey. I moved and cut off his landing on the east, now he has troops ready to land on the west.
  4. One transported corps sinks. On the east side. Another is hurt. I have bunches of corps and planes to stop him. Readiness doesn't move a bit!
  5. Sea Lion. There's transports everywhere.
  6. Folgers! You have got to be kidding me! It's 6PM, my time. Time to break out the Tequikillya. All quiet on the Western front.
  7. Clearly Rambo is not from Starbucks country. He brought an Italian fleet to Malta and got smacked. Again, I think he is thinking. But that ship is gone. That would make number three.
  8. A small clash in the North Sea. I met a sub, transport and fleet. I attacked with a remnant of a carrier, but got intercepted and it got crushed. whoops. I ran away. I think it's a feint.
  9. By the way, Rambo is a much nicer person in battle than he is in commentary. Unlike me. I'm spewing all sorts of nasty crap at him. Not really, but I want to. He hurt my frenchies.
  10. Rambo is going to try to invade England, which is exactly what I want him to do. It makes Russian readiness go crazy. And if I can play France well, and I can, imagine what I can do with Russia.
  11. France fell. They fought well. The gambit went poorly, and they lasted until July. All that was left was a 9 point corp next to Paris and a 3 point army in the maginot. Not bad. I hold Brest. Buying time. And I need to buy a lot of time. His nasty fat hobbit planes attacked one of my air fleets and wiped it out. Now comes the battle of Britain. Still, though, Rambo has not charged all of the neutrals. And he might not, with readiness so screwed up.
  12. Back on track. I redid my turn with better results even, though the impact is minimal. Hit an HQ for 2 points as he begins his assault on Paris.
  13. Ok. I joined. How come you suddenly have 14 air fleets.....kidding. Just demonizing you.....
  14. I have an autosave. I am at 4.65.20.189. We'll see if this works.
  15. He still has/had libya, just not that city, and I don't know how important it is....It feels important, but I don't know. connection still refused.
  16. Rambo, how I put up an auto save>? I play games, not computers.
  17. It is June 23. Rambo did not quite manage to take Paris. He pounded, but got bad rolls. (I arranged this with Hubert in advance, kidding). France is holding longer than I expected. He moved up his air fleets this turn, and there is nothing to stop him. I anticipate he will attempt Norway next turn and expect Sealion. It won't work, though. He did it to me before, long ago, and I am waiting. He can't take the Med, because he lost too much Italian navy. 1 fleet, 1 sub, down. The three other fleets are bruised. Denmark really did help me witha few extra brit mmps. Proud my danish folks.
  18. France is falling. It's June. I did give a bit of a bloody nose. 1 armor, 1 army. I have effectively distroyed/used up all my french units. Denmark fell. He is using Italians to kill off France, so I know something good happened, but my whole plan went off kilter. His navies have been hit and hurt. I have tripolitania. France will surrender next turn. I anticipate.
  19. He must be running out of MMPs! He must be. The Italian fleet gets a bloody nose. But the British fleet is skeletal. France has not fallen. Yet.
  20. It's April. My corps are dead. Paris is surrounded. Rambo is making a move in the Med with his Italian fleet that will be difficult to counter. Marseilles has fallen. We are lost! We are lost!
  21. Rambo is gearing up for the final assault that I cannot stop. I have a thin line of corps before Paris, and my maginot armies that are worthless. They do some flea bites. Rambo took his Italian army out of Tripolatania, and I get lucky and take it (I don't think this has ever happened, but I am sure he's putting it to good use. I'm trying to use up all my French before they surrender. The air unit was converted. Without Denmark, he can't have many MMP's, but damn, he has disciplined troops. I kill off one Italian fleet at nominal cost. I wish I had killed an armor or even a corp, but no. Nothing.
  22. The dying begins. France is surrounded, I have a few corps and an armor in Paris. Rambo does strange things with his Italian fleet, and I don't think it turns out as expected. No bloody noses yet for the axis, but the Italian take a bruise. Denmark still lives.
  23. It is February, 1940. Rambo makes no overt moves in France, but he has surrounded the maginot (I didn't even have a chance to change out the armies to corps). He uses his air to pound my carriers, which are now ineffective and must retreat from battle. An Italian army slides up from the south (no, I didn't even get a chance to wall that off either). So far, all it looks like is that I killed off readiness to lose at the same rate. Denmark, weird, still alive.
