OK. Got your turns this time. No need to use Hotmail by the looks of things. No idea what happened to the other email.

Len, can you try again at michael.harrington@bigfoot.com, but copy the email to prunehead@ntlworld.com and bumhat@hotmail.com. The bigfoot address is a redirection service (which might be up the whiz) but I've set up the web-based Hotmail account so that if it's another problem, we can communicate anyway. I noticed that Cpl. Carrot mentioned the end of October to get the turns done, so I think despite the disruption we should easily be able to resolve our turns.

Ahhh! Back online at last! And my wife just had a baby! Len - did you get my email last night? If you send me the latest turns we can get going again. Sorry I've been disconcertingly quiet. The baby is in a bit more of a routine now, so I've had the chance to sit down by the computer...

Urgent message for Len. My evil IBM hard drive looks like it just corrupted my registry, which is why you've had nothing from me this weekend till I could get back to work (Windows won't boot). Luckily, I could dual boot into Linux and I've managed to back up important data (like CMBO turns and my financial history lol). I'll need a few days to get things sorted out, but can you email me at work (michael@intrinsica.co.uk) so that I have your email address. I'll probably have to order a new drive, 'cos even if I sort this it'll just screw me again in a week. :-(

Relieved to see that we have a little more time on round 1. My opponent and I have not been able to get through more than about 1 PBEM exchange per day due to time zones and work commitments. We're currently on turn 23 in both, and a right meat-grinder it's turning out to be...

I entirely endorse these anti-bocage sentiments. The amount of SS troops I've had butchered in bocage doesn't really bear thinking about.

Spence and I are experiencing extremely severe fighting... things blowing up left, right and centre. Thanks again to the map creators. "Ready For The Fray" is particularly germane to slaughter. No winners emerging as yet, but casualties on both sides...

Jack, my condolences too. My wife and I lost our baby a year ago. Best wishes.
