1. Ammo cooking off will usually blast off a turret so all those Allied Soda cans should blast off quite easily. Probably hard to code though. Turrets being knocked off the ring is shown for knock outs isn't it? I would love to see SU-152s knocking off turrets without penetrating for CM2.
2. The ROF for IS2 was something like 1.5 to 2 rounds per minute. LOL
3. I once saw in some book that when Tiger Is first engaged IS-2s in April '44 that their one at advantage was their speed and manuverability .
4.
quote:
May you elaborate where you see the connetion between "permanent drunk status" and Warsaw Uprising? I'll very appreciate it. Straif

The connection is either Dirlewanger or Kaminski, cant remember which, ordered the entire attack on Warsaw stopped when they captured a vodka distillery so he could get drunk. The Germans shot him several weeks later for this and other things he did.
5. You dont really have to worry about PF penetration too much. If you can hit something with it, it ALMOST certainly will die. Even IS-2s could be taken out from the front with a PF.
6. I would love to see a '91 Gulf War CM. Just imagine the fun you could have with an MLRS battery and a company of M1A1s on the open desert. And yes I know not all of it was flat and barren.
7. You can't forget the partisans. Or for that matter German cavalry or police divisions for fighting them. That could probably be its own little side game though. Or else you could put in the troops from the Dirlewanger and Kaminski brigades and give them a permanent drunk status. That would make a Warsaw Uprising scenario interesting.
8. If anyone questions the ability of tanks to ford small rivers, the early tiger could go through 13-14 feet of water. Also www.panzerlexikon.de has an old video clip of a panzer II driving through a river up to its turret. Theres also footage of a PzIV i think going across a ford.
9. Guards units were somewhat like SS in that they got higher priority on new weapons and in general had higher morale. They were also usually composed of veterans
