I've had similar problems and it wasnt becouse of heat. I recently installed Windows XP and used the 15.70(???, not sure, cant remember) drivers with my Geforce 2 MX400. CM kept crashing over and over... After I tried the 23.10(not sure now either) drivers, the only problems I've had are the AAR screen...
Just my 2 cents...

Sounds... different
I´ll certainly give it a try if you get around making it...
The basic idea sounds really interesting!

You can clear hostile minefields with engineers(satchel charges )only. No other way. If you have room to maneuvre you can allways drive around it. As for driving through it, I would´nt do it unless theres no other way...

I think its an interesting idea...
I just think that remaining fuel should be relatively unknown, so that you run dry like after 10-25 turns... It would certainly make the scenarios even more interesting...
Should the fuel last longer if the AFV just sits in overwatch position without moving???

I think thats absolutely excellent idea!!
I just think that it might mean some pretty big changes in the code...
Still something to think about...
Maybe in CM3 or something...
I can just imagine a scenario when you think your winning and an additional company of inf arrives... Especially if you can give the forces some kinda approach they "have" to use (unless the TacAI doesnt like it).
Definetley something to think about...

How bout "fuzzing" the lower portions of housewalls so they blend better with sand
I know, its unfair to never be 100% happy when mods are of this high quality...
Really awsome dude!!!

My expectations for improvement for CM2 are only and totally on the gameplay and AI front. I totally agree with Heinz 25th PzReg on his points and would like to add for myself that as for graphics, the level we have now in the newest Hi-res mod are quite adequate for me. Especially when my desktop isn´t exactly up-to-date... I just wonder how many people are today playing CM from their laptops... Hope it will still be possible with CM2...
Please, please leave the graphics as easily "moddable" and concentrate on the rest...

This has I believe been discussed many times...
Press Print Screen for screenshots. It copies them to the clipboard. Paste them further from there.
And no. No way to make whole films...
Snowblind, but happy; Major mod preview!
