Just a quick reminder guys, Band of Brothers finally starts on Monday 2nd September 8:30pm channel 9.
This is the same day that the CMBB demo will be released (For Australians (Timezones etc)) so you may have to set the VCR to record BoB.

The War started in a Post Office? Please enlighten me...Originally posted by MikeyD:One scenario I've had in the back of my mind is a little fictionalized scenario involving the Russians arriving in 1945 at the very spot where the war originally started, at the Post Office in Danzig (in my imagination defended by Volksturm of course). Maybe I'll call it "The Tin Drum."

Wait until you see what is on the plate for round 2 John! You ain't seen nothin yet!Originally posted by John Kettler:I am While I'm grateful to all who made RoW II possible, I wonder whether the CM world is ready for the general release of the havoc and horror in these five scenarios?

Hehe, i remember seeing one of those things in a book once Funny lookin thing with a mirror on it
I doubt they where ever really used, for starters you could only shoot around a left or right handed corner depending on what way the barrel was bent

Ok, well i stand corrected...
BUT!!! I HAVE played the CMBO demo via PBEM, maybe TCP/IP was not included.

CMBO demo had TCP/IP, why not CMBB?

Damn! Nice info ParaBellum.Originally posted by ParaBellum:The german heavy cruisersPrinz Eugen (8x20.3cm and 12x10.5cm) and the Lützow (6x28cm and8x15cm) were both used in the baltic sea to support the land forces in late '44 and the first months of 1945.
The Prinz Eugen delivered accurate fire support (and fired more than 2000 rounds) during the desperate battles for Königsberg (january '45) and Danzig/Gotenhafen (march '45).
As a matter of interest what is your source?

I'd say the "Rule set" you are seeing is to do with CMMOS, which allows you to swap and change between mods with the click of a button.
To be CMMOS compatible mods must have a "rule set" written for them, at least that is how i understand it, I don't use CMMOS myself. Do a search on the forum for CMMOS and i'm sure you will find more answers.

I take it you are refering to the "Inset map" such as the ones in the Close Combat series?
If so then i don't think it is included, it may well be one of the CMBB "secrets" though.
Wait a couple of months and find out
