  1. Yes, yes I love Kelly´s Heroes and I think the character Oddball that comes around here does too. Anyway, I have just been playing the great scenario One Long Cold Day as Germans and I decided to use the halftrack to burn the wooded bridge. That way I prevented Tanks from coming throught my flank. Could no do it, just a waste of ammo. Can bridges be destroyed? Do wooden ones burn?
  2. Don´t you think it would be much better to have a key that shows you the WHOLE field of view of a unit just by clicking on it that to have to move the pointer all around with the LOS command? It could also have different shades of color depending on the unit´s range and effectiveness (great for ambushes!!!). I think it would give you a much better idea of the magnificent 3D world of CMBO. I sometimes find myself sending units to wrong places because I did not check all the views available. Just imagine you have a unit selected you click on FOV and you see the effect of the trees on it´s sight, you see if the enemy is on it´s optimal range, you see the little hill or corner that serves as a defilade...And after clicking off it the colors change to normal and you are in the trench once more...
  3. Tried that but they have the correct endings...Any other ideas?
  4. I know this place http://combathq.thegamers.net/ but lately I haven´t been able to download it. I can´t even get to the main page!! I love CM and I love being able to get infinite number of new battles...but where?
  5. My copy of CM came with a couple of new operations (Carentan 2?) but they appear inside the battles sections besides the operations section. How can I make them go to their proper place?
  6. I once lost an MG team that surrendered but after I got a command post near it I recovered it and it appeared normal but UNARMED so I just sent it to the rear. When I get prisioners I sent them towards my rear because I once left them where they stood and their returned to their rear. I would like the CM boys to consider INTERROGATING prisoners if we bring them to command posts. They could signal force status or when a gun was at the beginning of the battle. What do you think?
  7. I have got a couple of ideas: 1. That if you bring captured units to a high command post and letting them stay there for a couple of turns. They give info depending on their grade. For example a lieutenant that is brought to a Captian can give info of where a gun was AT THE BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE. 2. Instead of having a line of sight you can make all the ground seen by a clicked unit change. That could be great for placing fortifications at the beginning of the battle. You can call it FIELD OF VIEW instead of LOS. And if you want to make it better you can make the field change colors depending on the weapons reach until it is out of reach. Bazookas for example. ------------------ The only people that know the real results of war are the dead.
