I agree while I do subscribe so I don't pay too much at the news-stands they do over charge and the fact they gave 1.0 out and probably a few other old games is even more suspect. The fact the Zipfiles the game was delivered on have hacker site messages is not kosher

Major H, I just got my Tacops 3.02 in the mail today after purchasing it. A Marine of my word I said I would when I realized the CGW copy was not kosher. I must say I love 3.0!!! My wife is gonna kill me if I don't stop playing soon. SEMPER FI!!!!

Yes Sir, they sure did. But if you didn't give them permission, then I will delete the program and purchase 3.0. I will do what is honorable. Sounds like you should contact their legal dept.? Semper Fi!

I got my 1.0 copy from this month's CGW 200th issue...perhaps I should upgrade to 3.0 as I do not want to take away from a fellow Marine. I have wondered if there are any major differences though. Semper Fi!!! Cpl HC Varn(Former US Marine)

Does anyone still play version 1.0, CGW put the version 1.0 on their 200th anniv. disk and I rediscovered how much I love this game. If any has the original version is it possible to PBEM? Is it worth buying ver 3.0?

As a former US Marine(89-95) and Gulf War Vet., I think this student has a lot to learn about the world. War games have been around for many years and are a valuable tool for both military and civilian alike. Maybe it's a stretch but I do not think anyone really like war, but like death and taxes is a way of life on this planet. This young person needs to wake up and realize that if not for war she would be wanting for freedom and peace. It is tragic that people like this student exist in blissful ignorance like this but what can we do? Perhaps someone should tell her of the sacrifices many made so she could be so free spirited and "educated" maybe some small amount of reality will set in.
