Any know how long a mail order would take from the UK, I Posted the letter and money order on the 15th Jan. Money order was $55 (i hope that it was the right amount of money)

The Allies won the war because they helped each other. No single allied country can be given the full credit for winning it. As for Technolgy, its mixed all through the war. I am not getting involved in this post any more than this.

Its not Ste. Mere Eglise, because on the bell tower of the church, there is a statue of the American paratrooper who got stuck up there when he landed on top of it. seen it on my uncles cam corder from when he went there in 1999.

How many tanks were in a regiment? I worked out 768 for a normal Us reg off Western Front (the game), but it seems quite alot.

Don't Know if this is true or not but I read somewhere (can't remember where) that one Jagdtiger sat on a hill was responsable for knocking out an entire regiment of allied tanks in the Ardennes in 1944.

Thats where that wonderful thing call air mail comes in, straight across the atlantic in a 747. No need to bother with the u-boats.
