  2. OK OK, before you start throwing rotten fruit at me could someone tell me if Tacops has ever debated doing this? I just noticed that other BF games are on the Direct2Drive service. I've never tried the service, though I bought Matrix's War in the Pacific through digital river a while back and loved the Idea of saving the S&H on an already 80$ game, it also gave me instant play and no wait. It might widen the appeal and give some people the push to buy w/o the S&H hit. Just a friendly question. Thanks for reading.

  3. Thx people you've been most helpful. O.T. James Sterrett are you the same Sterrett that did the Steel Beast's Recog. guide? If so... Nice job and fun reading. This game and Steel Beasts (although different companies I know) really compliment each other. Anyways thank you everyone you helped me make my mind up.

  4. Hello,

I've chewed through the demo and really liked the clean interface and detailed gameplay of Tacops. I was wondering what the longevity of this game is from my perspective. I'm a busy student right now and I don't see multi-play in my very near future, so my question is how much is there to the single player component? As in: how many scenarios, how long are they, how many (roughly) alternate outcomes are there? What I mean by this is; from the demo I gather there are a lot of "random" forking paths the Ai can take which lends itself greatly to replay, are these common in all the scenarios? If someone has the time to let me know what, along these lines, the game has to offer I'd really appreciiate it, thx in advance. Thanks also to Major H., This Demo looks great, so I know there was hard work involved.

  5. Well since this thread seems to be going nowhere...

    Painfbat,

My Girlfriend and I are Indo-challenged when it comes to cooking Indian; Do you have any tips on cooking that popular cauliflower and Tameric(maybe it's curry) dish. We have not done a very good job in the past. I think the name is "abu-gabi"? perhaps or somefink like that. Thanks in advance... I find good food can unite all the masses. Peas out.

  6. I have a hotmail account I use for online forms and I was wondering if this is why I have not recieved an email from the cmmods moderator with my password. I signed up quite some time ago and recently re-requested an email with my password... still nothing. I'm aware some sites don't like hotmail and I guess since I've gotten no communication I'm grasping at straws. Any help in this area would be welcome thank you.

  7. Thx for your replies, the game doesn't seem to allow For different resolutions between desktop and game, even deleting pref file then reloading game with a smaller res. didn't work. The program does the check and the highest res. available is your current desktop res. It would be nice if this was an option in a later patch, other games allow this. If anyone else knows a solution I'm all ears.
