I was in the danish army as a Gunner on the Leopard 1A5
from 1993-1998
During that time I was stationed in Croatia(Zirovac and later Petrinja)in 1994 under UN and then Bosnia(Tuzla) 1995/96 under both UN and NATO(IFOR)
we drove on to 4 antitank mines during a patrol north of Doboj, and we got a away with almost no scratches, only black eyes, but the commander got some fragments in his arm and face , but we were lucky, that the tank did manage four mines, even though all of our ammo was squezed pretty good
But I still miss my tank everyday
