Hi all, My one main worry about the CDV version of CMBB as opposed to the Battlefront.com version is my perception that the manual is very very poor. I own CMBO (bought from Battlefront.com a few years ago). If I own CMBO already do I really even need a manual or can I just pick up tips about the new orders, effects as I go along? Can anyone point me to an old thread where all the basics of CMMOS are explained?If not.... Do I unzip all downloaded CMMOS mod zip files into the old CMBO bmp directory or do I unzip them into the CM Mod selector directory? Do I need to manually change the file names back to the original CMBO name e.g. 3006_us_black.bmp to 3006.bmp or does CMMOS do it for me when I select them in CMMOS? Thanks

Hello, I have just purchased a new Dell 4300 with 256MBRAM and a 64MB GeForce2 MX card, 19”monitor. My version of CMBO is 1.12 and I am using DirectX8.1. Windows XP is my OS. I am having many, maybe unrelated problems playing CMBO. My problem starts when I run CMBO, I am confronted by a message on my screen: “Attention 108k / 99Hz, Frequency is out of range” This disappears and I am at a screen that says “3D DirectX Test Click ACCEPT to select this graphic mode Primary Display Driver Resolution" etc. etc It then cycles through different screen resolutions and refresh rates. If I pick a screen resolution I go to the CMBO title screen. None of the “Play Game” etc. buttons are active, except there is a message box overlaying them all which is the only box active and when I click the game quits and returns to desktop. I am not able see the writing in the black box, all I know is that it is the only box active. Please help me if you can, I am at the end of my patience with this. Thanks FUBAR’D

Hi, A question about mortars: in a certain scenario I have a German 81mm mortar team complete with mortar tube and separate from that I also have a German 81mm mortar spotter. My question is this: does the spotter spot for the 81mm mortar or is it spotting for an offboard 81mm mortar. Does the other mortar work independently of it? Thanks, FUBAR'D

Hi, Can someone please explain the relationship between commanders and arty spotters. Is there any special relationship? Is it confined to Company COs? Had a quick glance in the manual - couldn't see anything. Thanks.

Hello, Firstly, how does one install a specific mod? Just open the zip file into the CM directory and off we go or are there complications to that? Any tips in installing the mod elegantly in case you want to upgrade/change it? Secondly, if you do want to change/upgrade the mod or install a different mod of the same feature, say, German uniforms, then how do you do this? Does the3 second file override the first or do you have to erase the first before/after installing the second mod? Thanks for any help, sincerely. FUBAR'D
