Due to relative lack of interest and what looks like some impending weather, I think I'm gonna call "better luck next time" on this one.
-
Ouch, sorry to hear that, and hope all's well.
Fair warning: if no one else replies, I'm going to assume that no one else is going, in which case I won't be going myself.

Can I get a final count of who's coming?
April 22, 6 PM, RFD
The RFD's address:
810 Seventh St. NW
Washington, DC 20001
Phone: 202-289-2030
As always, my email is in my profile, and drop my line if you need my phone number. If you can't make it until later than 6, stop by, I'll be there for the long haul.

I like big bumps and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty post
And a round thread in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull up tough
'Cause you notice that bump was stuffed
Deep in the UBB she's wearing
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I wanna get wit'cha
And take your picture
My homeboys tried to warn me
But with that bump you got makes
Ooh, I got a Messerschmidt
You say you wanna strafe me, Fritz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that refresh monkey
I've seen them postin'
The hell with coastin'
All next week I'm bombin' Coventry
Got it goin' on like a F-190
I'm tired of magazines
Sayin' short threads are the thing
Take the average Peng and ask him what
He likes about a big old bump
So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your Berli got the bump? (Hell yeah!)
Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy bump!
Baby got bump!
Thank you! Mel Torme will be on in a few, I'm here all week!

Congrats, man.
And hey, if BF.C ever needs a resident smartass verging-on-alcoholic generalist historian, look no further, boys! Chuppie's got your back.

Out, out, damn bump.
As for meeting time - I'm taking next week off from work, so pretty much any time after 9 AM or so is fine for me
Dunno, 6? 7? Let those who have real jobs speak.

Alright, I know you're out there. The weather's warm(ish, on occasion, punctuated by overnight frosts and a wee dusting of snow), the beer is cold, and lord knows there's plenty to talk about.

Wow. I think you just officially got my vote as the Biggest Waste of Skin Ever. Can't you go be one of those guys that dies after 78 straight hours of Everquest or something?Originally posted by Poor Old Spike:Broken mate, haven't you cottoned on that I only do it to wind up the kids in the forum, its almost as much fun as playing cmbb to see 'em getting all hot and bothered!
I've been doing it for ages in here under different names such as Veteran Gamer,Scatterbrain Kid,Licensed Fool,Combat Cuckoo,Headshot,Gutshot and Blikdat, and got banned all 7 times, with the 8th on the cards!
The way I see it,the more times somebody is banned, the more of a man he is !
I just LURV taunting the kiddies by reminding 'em that I'm the Rugged Defense Cmbb Ladder Leader!
As I say,I could be banned again anytime, but rest assured I'll always be strutting my stuff on forums and message boards elsewhere!

Hi guys - in light of the weather, I think I'm personally going to have to bow out of any drinking tomorrow. I think it's looking more like a Blockbuster night for me.
Let me take a look at my schedule and maybe we can work out a snow date.

Bump. Monday (President's Day) 8 PM. Location TBA.
Abraham Lincoln demands that you honor his memory by getting sloppy.
-
Also, I reckon I'll let someone else choose the venue this time around. Enlighten me on some other good DC bars, O wise ones.
-
A thread on homebrewing in the General Forum and a certain anticipatory dryness in my mouth indicate that those of us in the DC area might think about another beer night.
How does next Monday (President's Day) sound to you all? Too short notice?
-
Very preliminary AAR - I've had a bit to drink tonight so will not be super-lucid...then again, tomorrow's Superbowl Sundhay, and when has lucidity been a big deal then?
We had a decent turnout - me and I think five others? Once we figured out what kind of beer the Brickskeller actually had (I think they were out of everything besides Miller Lite and Tusker), we had a good time.
I'll add some recollections when I'm more sober, I recon

One last bump before I leave work. For those who're coming, I'll see you guys there, for those who can't make it, we'll do it again.
-
Today's the day. I'll be going home and changing before hitting the bar, so I will be wearing jeans and a red sweater. I'm about 5'10", thin, very short brown hair (like a Marine, but with sideburns). If you can't find me, hollaring "Jon" loudly enough should get my attention.

Oh, I'm too much of a lush to give up entirely; it just looks like this round was a case of bad timing.
Wedsnesdays are out for me for the next ten weeks or so, but Mondays sound good. Once Marlow's on the mend we can give it another go.
