Can someone explain the diffrences for me. I have sreached the manual, and i am somehow left confused about the difference between battle scenarios. Thanks in advance.

I know this is kind of a trite question, but I love the game and haven't had the time to invest in understanding the variation amoung the artillary units. This is mostly because in most of my missions I manage 3 spotters at best. So what is your most favorite and why? I have been using the 81mm mortarst mostly, because of thier large ammo count and low price. I am doing this to get down how and when spotter should work. Thanks in advance. Also, could someone explain what the suffix "VT" stands for?

Stepen E. Ambrose "Citizen Solider" covers the same portion of the war as CM. Great complimentary book for the game.

Couldn't somebody just design an alternate tile set, which could pass as N Africa? Seems to me, that designing the tile would be the easy part, tying them into the mission editor and interface would be the work. Sure would be a nice idea for a downloadable mod.

Risc, I have the same Video card, same OS, and same problem. Misery loves company. If I find an answer I will make sure and post it back. BTW what version are you all running of CM. I just got mine the other day, and it lists itself as v1.02, so I have not installed the patch, is this a correct assumption? It is a shame. The game does list itself as win200 friendly, and I had no problem with the demo.

Everything was fine for me until I switched OS to Win 2000. Now my TNT2 card is screwing up the text also. I am sure that I have the latest drivers, but I will do some investigaing on my own and report back. In the mean time, is anyone else having this problem with a Viper TNT2 card? And what type of video card are you using Kingfish?
