1. I play ops almost exclusively. Seems to me the front lines after battles have contained pockets, most notably a few times pillboxes I've bypassed. I've only seen one change of lines be totally straight and that was an earlier beta . The only thing I'd like is the opportunity to have more than six slots for reinforcements for those really long ops. Otherwise CMBO ops are great, having loads of fun with 'em. Just my opinion.
 2.
quote:
Originally posted by Turret Ring: That game is a good tank sim. Too bad they couldn't spawn an after-market support community like CMBO. I'd like to see all the tanks of WWII modeled in the Panzer Elite engine.

Some cats at the following site are doing all sortsa goo for PE ... check out the Panzer Elite Development Group at http://www.pedg.de/
 3.
quote:
Originally posted by Wild Bill Wilder: I thank you both, Ronson and CrazyCurt. You are crazy because you put up with my madness in both games Madmatt's site: http://combathq.thegamers.net/ Then go to scenario depot for the latest.

No prob and thanks for the URL, it's the one I know about though . A few of mine are even there.
 4. Where's this MadMatt Scenario Depot? Is it the same as the CMHQ scenario depot at thegamersnet.com? If not I'd appreciate the URL, preferably by email, thanks. And WBW thanks for all the cool scenarios! Whenever I find a WBW I know I've found quality. Appreciate it dude, and also the SPWAW work ( I play that too ).
 5. I notice few operations are made in relation to the number of battles made. I don't play online and really have no plan to as I do not deal well with human interaction. I love playing operations in Combat Mission. They have a campaign aspect which I prefer in wargames. I've made a few myself but it helps to have unknown operations. I know also a beta test is going on at the moment so it is probably unwise to make scenarios until the test is completed. But, when the time is right, I would appreciate seeing a few operations or four from all you scenario gods of creation. Thanks.
 6. I'm an old Panzer Elite player and can recommend the game in spite of some serious early bugs. Hopefully these have been addressed. There were a good number of players for PE on Kali, seek the SimHQ server. Unfortunately I've had to remove Panzer Elite, not out of dislike or disgust but simply due to lack of drive space . I really miss that game, so much so I'm begging give me a disk drive please oh please please. Maybe I can hang out in front of Fry's with a cardboard sign inscribed "Will work for gigabytes".
 7. A scout command would be kind of cool for vehicles with machineguns and no main guns. I have noticed when issued regular movement commands these vehicles tend to do precisely what's being discussed, at least usually. I've sent halftracks to peak over crests; when they spot a nasty tank they'll try to reverse to cover. If they spot infantry or soft vehicles they open up. Usually. I think a lot depends on crew experience as well. But, a scout command would still be cool.
 8. Ya gotta love these suggestions Here's another one -- Combat Mission : Russia Under Nazis. Ok not a great name but it forms the acronym "CM:RUN" ... just being silly.
 9. Interesting that the MxA1 halftracks can once again carry full squads, and a little confusing. What may I ask changed your minds? ,
 10.
quote:
Originally posted by Echo: CrazyCurt, your always wrong.

Perhaps, but I can spell "you're" correctly
 11. I beta'd ol' SE3 way way back when. SE4 I can only afford the demo ( so far ) but from what I've seen the improvements are impressive. The AI was never very bright in combat. I'm certain Malfador will address these issues. Like BTS they're some of the good guys, gamers that make games for gamers.
 12. I read a few BTS folks talk about CM2. I have no clue what's going on with CM1 much less CM2. But ... well the name isn't right is it? Combat Mission : Beyond Overlord is the full name of CM1. Would CM2 be named Combat Mission : Beyond Overlord Two? I hope not. If CM2 deals with the Ruskies then what about Combat Mission : Beyond Barbarosa? I think CM2 will deal with the Ruskies from what I've read in these posts. Could be wrong, I usually am.
 13. Done and Ditto to the lame choices
