Im confused, Why doesn't infantrymen shoot down helicopters with thier rifles and machine guns. I mean the weapons nowadays could do the damage and if an infantrymen destroyed a very expensive chopper with a cheap throw away rocket someone has just lost alot of money. War nowadays, even if it was conventional, would be too expensive and it would end up with the infantry bieng the "queen of the battlefields" because they can destroy tanks and choppers with m72's for choppers and rocket launchers for tanks, I forget the ones the Canadian army uses. Tanks and helicopters would be easy meat...Bottom line a war right now would be too expensive because to lose a single tank it to lose 2 million dollars..especially losing a tank to a throwaway infantrymans rocket! please correct me if im wrong..just an opinion...

Does the AI know how to put and keep men in half tracks during a game? I haven't seen anyone in any AI halftracks, it would be to the AI's advantage to do so! Thanks

The Americans tried to invade Canada 3 or 4 times and lost bloodily each time in the war of 1812! Then the Brits counterattacked out of Canada after the few Brits and Canadian militamen had defended it for the last time and torched the whitehouse, they had to paint it white to cover up the burn marks all over it! ....Bottomline....A blind American{not all Americans, most are fine} would not have a book about that, and if they did I would doubt it was written by a Canadian.

Ok, all of you are wrong!! You all overlook the country with true greatness in Tank warfare!!! JAPAN! So Germany,America, Britain GO HOME!!! Just kiddin' Ive read too many books on the Canadian campaign in Normandy to say that, at least in the 1st SS panzer corps {Liebenstarte Adolph Hitler[LAH] and the HitlerJugand[12 SS]} the training was better for thier tankers,possibly due to more experiance however, and they had better tactics and EQUIPMENT. The average SS Panzer Regiment had 1 battalion of MK IVH's which were at least equal to an Allied sherman and a battalion of Panthers which were at least better than a sherman, even the firefly. The Tactics were also due to experiance, but the Brit 7th armd Div {Desert Rats} even with thier experiance still got shot to pieces in the Villers Bocage area. I hope that ends the argumant of who had better tanks {if their was an argumant on that!?} As for Jochen Pieper, man for man the Germans were not superiour in WW2, nor are they now. Ill tell you why the Germans had success in WW2 {although they still lost} They had better commanders, Tactics, and equipment. The had better equipment because the Russians had better tanks than the Germans, the Germans needed to upgrade, and they did. The Good German commanders {at least against the Canadians in normandy} were mostly veterans of the Russian front. The better tactics in both offense and defense were born on the Russian Front! The Allies only had a slugging match in the Desert as thier only training in a "blitz" type war. And during those battles the equipment was somewhat equal. The tactics were not developed because the allies didnt have the expericace the Germans had in Russia. The commanders didn't want bloodbaths in Normandy so they were overly cautious making them predictable, making them lose. The equipment aspect was horrifying, the Governments of all the allied nations should have been tried for treason to send men out in crap. The Canadian tankers in Normandy would get thier tanks blown up by Tigers and panther 2-3 Kilometers away, and thier shermans had a very low chance of killing a tiger or panther when it is hull down on a ridge a kilometer away! The Germans only had expericance, NOT superiourity. Because, Man for Man it was whoever could stick the bayonet in the other guy first, and that was 50 50. Look at the Battle of the Bulge! Stalingrad! Falaise! Kursk! Berlin! Battle of Britain! Where was the German superiourity here?

Area 51, lead an assualt team armed with cameras and slingshots as they try to enter area 51 {Turns out to be a military latrine making station} 5.Riot 2001....Lead your fellow Rioteers and destroy....what city is on the verge of collapse....mmmmm.....Buffalo NY! Ya destroy buffalo! Can you vandalize the city over 30% before the national guard comes!? 6. "CM Factor"...People waiting for CM2 go insane! Ya, There is Canadian forces, they even have Kangaroo APC's. I am still waiting for my copy to arrive (its been a week and 2 days and im in Toronto Ontario, how long of a wait do you think?}. Also they have most or all of the equipment used by the Canadians in world war 2. Anyway it is already out and from what ive heard its an amazing game, AI is really good I hear {well it beats the crap out of me in the demo!}. This is why I am getting this game, because its not all American. The people who made this game were open minded and realized that the Brits,Canadians,poles and Free French all played thier part, not just the Americans!

When I said we shouldn't be im Kosovo militarily, I meant no bombing, not no peacekeeping. I believe that the UN should have had troops within Kosovo during the occupation to make sure there was no mass murderings going on. PD... You seem to forget that many other countries also shine brightly, you say that America shows the world the best example of how to live, isn't right. I know you think that your country is better, but in many cases it's not. It is no better than anyother country, I have lived in the states, and I have lived in Canada. Both have advantages and disadvantages, but the UN rated Canada the number #1 place to live for at least a few years in a row now, America is far behind Canada. I agree with the UN, America seems to me all for the rich and none for the poor. Your healthcare system is wrong, if you don't have the money you don't get the care. In Canada, it doesnt matter if you are rich or poor, you get the same quality treatment, which is good treatment. If Canadian hospitals are filled up for cancer treatments than the Canadian government pays for your stay in the US to get it done. In the states everything is privatly owned, your people aren't equal, it depends on how much money you have, thats sad. America is the number one murder capital in the world, how does that make your country the best example on how to live. When everything depends on how much money you have, your healthcare system is a mess and the UN has just said that Canada is the number one place to live, not America. Your people are generous, im not saying they are not. The Americans are a good people, but not the American government is only looking out for itself, like most other governments, its not really wrong. Just you should't say America is the best when this is a multi-national board, because everyone is loyal to a different country. America isnt very popular because you say that you are the best all the time, the bad thing is you say it when other countries are listining.

Jackhammer you are sadly mistaken about Kosovo, The Americans will use thier airforce but not their army. Kuwait was retaken but you left Saddam in power, Milosovich killed thousands, you made him leave Kosovo, but you left him in power. There are Political reasons behind this, first off all Americans remember the Vietnam fiasco and America will not send in ground troops for fear of high casualties in a land that no-one REALLY cares about. Also the Americans leave these guys in power because they need an excuse to keep a large military. In someways Jackhammer the Americans failure to use there army and to physically remove him from power could be called pussyfooting. All I know is that when the U.S {NATO too} bombs Saddam or Milosovich for killing a few thousand people, why aren't they bombing the Chinese because they are killing people too aren't they...But there is money to be made there...The Americans are no better than the Europeans in that respect. In another respect, should anyone be there militarily at all...

I have no problem with America, except that some Americans seem to forget that other countries fought in world war 1-2. I do have a problem with a Canadian thinking of the Americans as better than anyone else. America has proved many times that it is no better than Canada, the Brits, Australia or any-other country. What Mr Sinclair is failing to remember is that his own country has also done things to help rebuild other nations, except on a smaller scale because we aren't as rich as the Americans because Canada only has 30 million people. So this Mr Sinclair shouldn't call the Americas the most generous people on earth because there are many other generous nations, except they don't have the money to spend, he has failed to mention them. The Americans are not blind, they knew that if France and Germany and all the other war torn nations in Europe stayed poor that they would have become communist, France especially! The Americans did not want most of Europe communist, so they, with other countries help, rebuilt west Germany so they would have a strong country in mainland Europe. As winston Churchill once said "I want at least something beetwen the white snows of Russia and the White Cliffs of Dover," the Americans wanted that too. Why did the Americans go to the moon? To beat thier arch enemy, the communists. The Americans rebuilt European nations to beat the communists, to defeat the villain. What about Cuba, putting sanctions on those already poor people because it is a communist country! You do not allow anyone to make anything there so the people continue to be poor or unemployed, so soon they will realize the greatness which is capatalism. What!? But the Americans go to China and build things, that doesnt make sense, aren't they communist. I can tell you why people, because Cuba is small so the American government can say "I don't agree with what you are doing so we are going to make your already poor country poorer," but when the Chinese run over a bunch of demonstrators at Teinamen square the Americans put factories over there! I think this happens becouse the American buisnessmen can get rich, and the American governement does nothing becouse they aren't big enough to push around China, but Cuba on the other hand.... Sure they are generous, the people are, but not thier government. Mr Sinclair also forgets that other countries put its scandels out on the store window too, Canada and its somalia fiasco and Britain and its fiasco's. If the Americans asked for help, Canada would give it in a second. But the Americans don't ask for help, they are capable of helping themselves. Personnaly I like Americans, they are a nice people, sometimes to patriotic outside of thier own nation which gets them in trouble, but nontheless a good people. But I will never say they are more generous than any other country. What Mr Sinclair has done is put down everyother nation, and the sad thing is he is Canadian. America has many reasons to be proud. They should be proud. Mr Sinclair is blind and doesn't see things strait.....

Many Americans who disliked thier country's policy of nuetrality came over to Canada to fight. The Americans mainly joined the R.C.A.F, and since Canada was one of the countries which was seriously involved in the BCATP we could train them in large numbers. Many Americans continued to serve with distinction inside the RCAF after the Americans were forced into the war.

I haven't got the game yet but here is a dumb question before I get it. Does the Dead Body graphic come when the whole Unit Dies or just when a 3 man section dies. Im asking this because one of the heroes section hero's has a screenshot with alot of bodies... Hi I have downloaded the demo and when I clicked on the icon I got a message saying that my res would be 640,480 and that I would be using SOFTWARE graphics! I pressed ok because when I pressed "skip to next" It said "program error could not intitialize direct 3d graphics" I have Direct x 7. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks p.s The graphics are pretty good considering it is in software mode!

I know this is way off topic but my brother is in bootcamp and has told me that he is training on the c8 carbine. I thought that he would get the c7. I believe the c7 is better because it is scoped, and it is standard issue. He is in the reserves, and he is in bootcamp. This is his first time having anything to do with it. He is in the Argylls. I just want to know why he is using the c8 and not the c7, because there are alot more c7's then c8's. I was just wondering if any Canadian reservist might be able to answer my question! Thanks!
