  1. Just wanted to let everyone know that I have received your e-mails, but a real life issue has come up (subpoena) which has me scrambling at the moment.
  2. So when will we since the final list of finalist? Sorry for being a bit pushy, just curious? </font>

  5. Wonder no more. The 'No AAR - No play in the finals as a finalist' rule is in effect.

  11. I'm not sure if they were equipped with 81s for the Cisterna operations. Normally they had 2x 60mm mortars per line company, but they did replace the 60mm with the larger 81mm for the landings at Arzew in North Africa, and Cisterna Op was a much bigger operation. One problem with adding the 81mm to this scenario, the LOS is shorter than the mortars minimun range, even if they employ a HQ for indirect spotting. In any event they wouldn't send the mortars out with the line infantry on a night attack.
  12. Trust me, I wish we all could to, but where to post them? A check of my AAR folder shows I have 34 megs of AARs, and that is not counting ROW IV.

  14. OK, listen up because this is important. The results I have posted earlier are now null and void. The reason being is that the Nabla scoring program requires that all 5 scenarios have the same number of entries. IOW, it can't work if Vevi has 28 entries and Melon 36. Therefore, what I have done is submitted several late scores in order to fill in the blanks. What this does is blow the previously posted averages and standard deviations out of the water, and because all the pre-Nabla calculations were derieved from those numbers they too are hosed. Jarmo has now been sent the updated spreadsheet with all the slots now filled. He was very close to getting us a final score, so hang tight for a little while longer.

  17. Why, in my HD of course I have over a hundred from the first 3 ROW tournaments. If anyone is interested I can e-mail them a few choice picks. Address is in my profile.

  19. Update again, Jarmo has responded. Can't really go into detail, but it may be that the regular tourney will be scored very soon, perhaps as early as tonight. As for signing up for ROW V, Waaaaaay too early for that, but when the time comes it will be posted on this forum in the usual manner. Judging by the news on how far away the new engine is it is more than likely that ROW V will be in CMAK (and hopefully in 1.02). I want to personally thank all those who took the time to write AARs for this tournament. That is a very impressive list.

  22. Time for an update- Jarmo has been contacted. No reply as of yet, but I got my fingers crossed that he can lend a hand. If he can't we still have a few options. The first is to bring in someone who has the know how to run the Nabla program in DOS or Linux. If that doesn't pan out then my next option is to go with the spreadsheet results as they are posted, without running them thru the Nabla program. It worked for ROW III (both regular and finals). A few of you have submitted scores after the deadline. I'm sorry but, as much as I would like to, I cannot accept these. I do appreciate the effort, and understand that real life sometimes crashes the party, but I have already calculated the scores and posted them. Adding new ones in will force me to redo everything again, and it wasn't much fun the first time around. Again, sorry for that. Charl, Spreadsheet and scenarios on the way. I'll divide it into several e-mails so as to not overload your inbox. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
