  1. Open's in Oz on April 21. I don't think it's showing at the majors though.

Check out Cornelious Ryan's "Last Battle", for an interesting read about the battle of Berlin (not that much detail about the actual battle), but was interesting about how deluded Hitler became and how he wanted to micromanage every German division (whether it existed or not) on both fronts, without listening to the people who knew.

Ohh.. that makes sense. Thanks very much. And I look forward to playing the battle once I've upgraded. I checked out "Boots and All" also. I liked the way you can see the scenario in a preview screen. :D

Also, should I assume all battles are only 1.03 compatible?

    Cheers.

  3. Okay, so I've checked the manual, searched the forums, search google, and checked the Online Help to see if I could find something about this. I downloaded a new battle, unzipped and placed the .cme file into the scenarios folders. But when I startup CMBB it doesn't display the new misison in the menu.

The manual mentions this in the troubleshooting section, saying it's picking up the missions from the CD...recommending to start CMBB from the installed directory... so I start CMBB from the installed directory and it still doesn't appear.

What is the correct procedure please. I remember doing this quite easilly in CMBO a couple of years ago, but I'm not sure what's going on in CMBB.

    Any help welcome.

  4. I have no doubt the Scenarios show of CC:BB new features, but they don't offer the same "fairness" when facing off in PBEM. Demos are a marketing tool... I still think Chance Encounter is the BEST secenario I've played via PBEM (Yes, I bought CC:BO and played some of them also). Getting THRASHED in PBEM in the demo isn't my idea of enjoying a demo...even if I'm doing the thrashing. Chance Encounter was very evenally balanced.
