  1. Info on me: SSgt U.S. Air Force just past my 8th year as a Firefighter. I can tell you the military does not do vision correction surgury. I have worn glasses since I was in 2nd grade and there is nothing more that i hate in this world is having poor vision. From the inside looking out I can tell you honestly that if you are looking to make the military a career there is no better branch than the Air Force. I am by no means Gung Ho, but as far as making a life for yourself and having a future there is no comparison. The living conditions are fantastic, every person is given there own room, that's right there are no longer roommates in the Air Force, the pay is by far much better, travel is easy, and training for future occupations is outstanding. If you are dead set on The Corp, more power to you, and I would be more than happy to assist you in making a transition. I have a close personnel friend who is a recruiter and also know an X firefighter in the area here in Washington who is now a recruiter who would be happy to help you out. Let me know. 2. So let's get the hell out of here!" -Col. George Taylor
  3. I must admit I am 3/4 the way through D-Day by stephen E. Ambrose and found myself at times completely sucked in and felling the horrors as the story's play out. He has Also written the Book Citizen Soldiers which covers the War after D-Day. Both are must reads.
  4. Well Looks as though I come about as close to your average as I can be......25 year old Firefighter In The USAF, SSgt/E-5, Married with two boys. (Thank God) And between Close Combat and CM Demo it is any wonder any of em are still around hehehehe. Schulz
  5. I do agree with you Andrew, I myself have unloaded and 81 mm spotter and a 105 spotter's fulll load's on that very same map without barely a nick. Schulz As far as strategy goes on the map once you get the 105 Sherms Up the Far left Road past the slit on the bunker they are all very simply taken out.
