Oh crap, I think we just found ourselves a Slashdot Anonymous Coward!!! -1 Redundant the bugger to death!!!
-
Thanks
Oh by the way, dont go to the site from saturday until tuesday, as I'll be away and I wont be able to post any news to keep the site fresh. If you do go, you'll just get a blank page, as I havent written the code to view old news items yet!!!

I'm busy learning Perl and CGI, and Im trying to write a simple news site. I submit news articles, and everyone can read them.
I'd appreciate it if you would take a look, and post some helpful comments here. Or even mail me them.
Thanks!

I dont know, but he sounds like he's in a crazy little world of his own. Run away!!! Maybe waiting for CM has turned him insane!

I dont think the CM graphics engine could handle the number of units that would be required. Personally, I think the Shogun: Total War engine would be more suited; it can display up to 5000 units.

Im not sure when exactly I joined, but I found CM through the gamesdomain site.

Actually I prefer using the Ultimate Bulletin Board - its my favourite.

People who speak English as a second language probably speak "better (more correct?) English" than the English do! If you know what I mean.

Mark IV - thanks for the description!

Could someone please give a brief description of what happens in the PBEM movie? Im in Linux at the moment, and I dont have Windows installed right now. Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend the ATI 128 Pro; I find it pretty darn slow in the 3D department. Wait for the GeForce 2s to come out, and buy an original GeForce (1) at a discount price.

Evrsoft's 1st Page 2000 is free, and caters for different levels, from easy to hardcore. I'd recommend you take a look at it.

You could always mail those "stupid DVDs to me". Except I'd have to buy a player first!

If someone wants to write the Perl/html, then I'll host it.

Woah steady there people! I'm too busy waiting for CM1 to come out!!
-
Yeah I've played several times and lost every time!!! Oh wait, that's the wrong way round!

Is this 12 year development plan available for public consumption?

I'm in Canada, but I'm English, born in Germany. And therefore Ive posted in response to 3 posts like this! Good stuff eh?!

"show off at CM meetings, impress chicks, you know, all that."
lol! If I tried to impress my g/f with that, she'd probably leave me!!!

For me its the ability to get down and dirty into the middle of the battle as it rages around you. No more staring at stupid hex displays trying to work out what the hell it all means! Damn those hexes!

I'm from England, but I live in Canada. I'm originally from near Middlesbrough, not that I admit to that!!!

Actually I was born in Rinteln in Germany, but I'm English, as my dad was stationed near there with the British army. Army brat alert!
