BTS does not, EVER, post to the Cesspool, so no time is taken off their hands by its presence. You have a response from BTS where they said "We'll check this out and get back to you". What more do you want?

But here is another discrepency. I noticed last night that a 150mm infantry gun has a penetration value of 150 at 100m. At the same time, a German 150mm howitzer had a penetration of 100. Any comments?WWB

Something is very wrong here(or in great need of explanation.

It's a little disturbing that a hamstertread gets more attention than a possible major bug !

  3. Anyone her have the feeling that a tank standing still in a overwatch position is blind compared to a hunting tank ?

In a PBEM vs a friend I was finally sure that the hunting AFV have a spotting bonus vs the overwatch AFV.

I had positioned 2 TD/tanks (don't want to give away what they are) in an over watch covering my advance (open ground).

They had been there 1.5 turn and i felt it might be time to move them out(if he had called down of map arty on them).

The plot for turn 3 i gave a 30 second delay and a hunt order.

The first second of turn 3 a shell landed to my right and I thought here comes the arty.

after 23 seconds and many "mortar shells later" The 2 PzIV pop up from nowhere on the opposite hill a little to the left(also open ground).

Those bastards have fired at me all the time And my Veteran Crew did not spot them until 23+ seconds. Lucky for me my TD/tanks fired three shots and killed both PzIV:s whiteout casualties.

I have made a scenario with an Elite PzIV vs. 4 green ShermanA1 and 2 regular ShermanA1.

That Scenario is impossible to win because of the "pop up" effect of the Shermans.

I often turn out with 2 Shermans killed before i die (only because of the high "one shoot one kill" ratio of the Elite crew).

If I reverse and hunt up and down a hill all the time I get a much higher kill ratio.

    Weird and not accurate IMHO.

This is not a "It happened ones so give me a new patch and money back" thread, I simply wonder if I am insane, unlucky or if someone else have experienced the same (Repeatedly of course).

  4. This is not intended to start a flamewar.

If some of you have to flame me, mail me at:

M Hofbauer and Scott, I recognize you both from the days of Ryan Ross Close Combat Forum.

M Hofbauer I remember you as a great map and modmaker. Scott made many intelligent posts and may have been involved in realred (don't remember, Sorry Scott).

I have been around since the days of CC1 and PanzerGeneral1. Mostly lurking (because of my bad English). You are both valuable posters on many forums, why can't you just be pals instead of nitpicking/flaming eachouther ?

Scott ! I was a plattonleader in the Swedish army 5 years ago in a AT-Missile/Inf Platoon. We had 30 AT-mines as standard equipment. Digging down a mine in a pawed road was nothing we did (most probably because we would destroy the road).

In the winter there were no problem to dig down the mines in the road (but mines have a lesser effect in snow)

  5. I would be most grateful if someone with good English helped me check my Scenario texts, because my English stinks.

I have made a battle named Ambush and a operation named Bratwurst Bridge.

If you are interested i can send you the

    files (both .cmb and .txt)

Play testing would be great too !

    Thanks in advance
