Guys, I am in the fight of my life. Just got the word that my wife is going to the in laws Memorial Weekend. I also have planned to play my new CM that weekend and have been hording coffee for two months in preperation. Any help or experience some of you marriage vets can give on excuses to get out of the trip will be helpful. And don't suggest congestive heart failure, did that last year and it didn't work. Will someone at Battlefront check and make sure my order is still in your system. I preordered in DEC. I would also like to authorize next day air if possable to insure getting it by the end of May. CM2-The Vietnam Conflict CM3- America at War 2000 OK Go ahead and flame me. I know you guys are WWII buffs but I would LOVE to see modern infantry squad level weapons in this game.

Okay, Here it goes- I love CM Demo. I would rather play the game with modern warfare weapons (M16, M60, SAW, M203 ....). I know that war gamers are taken by the WWII era, but I would rather engange in combat with accurate modern weapons in a somewhat fictional war. Say like US vs China. The setting could be in Europe or I think it would be cool to play a campaign where America is occupied. Imagine fighting in New York,Dallas, London, Paris. You could use the same CM engine and fight a war using todays weapons. I DO NOT want to turn this into some wierd Command and Conquer junk, just a hypothetical war with weapons that I actually understand. What do you think? And please be gentle I'm new here.

I still play Microsofts CC2 from time to time. BTW I have officially purchased my last CC game with Battle of the Bulge...sheesh what a waste! The first computer game I ever got was "Twilight 2000". Still one of my favs even though I havent had it for a few years. Twilight was similiar to CM except for the 3D aspect. Small unit level combat using real weapons. I have tried other war games, and can not find anything remotely interesting. I have tried some Talon Soft but didnt really enjiy it. East Front I think. Any ideas? Thanks
