Dig this, I read on another thread that some guy was fighting in a French village. He couldn't control one of his squads for some reason. They entered a building then it became transparent and he noticed there were a few French chicks "working". At the end of the battle, sure enough those 12 men were listed as Casulities! The squad leader had "Clap" listed next to his name. Great job on "The Big Bang" realism Steve and Charles!

To think of a battle with crocs lurking about is proposterous! I admit my ignorance to WWII weapons but I KNOW those beasts only inhabit swamps and were never used in battle. I agree- I have been following the status since the old ASL days. I ordered in Dec and have read posts from guys in Podunk USA who ordered in May who got it TUE. Now all this stuff about credit card charges 4 to 5 days before shipping- hell, I don't know whats going on except I was charged on Jun 21. Alas it appears my preordering 7 months ago backfired on me ! I truly believe that there was a honest mistake somewhere, and those who ordered in May were shipped first. that based on posts I have read from other guys.I am pissed and as stated earlier I just don't know who at yet. ok, I am through. NOTE TO ALL FLAMERS-as stated "I truly believe that there was a honest mistake somewhere," so please don't tell me to stop bitchin' I am not blaming anyone here, just disapointed. And I know anyone else who has ordered the game 7 months ago and have read posts from some guy who ordered 1 month ago and received his even before my card was charged would be disappointed too.

Dave- OK I am ignorant about the Post Office,, I won't argue that. all I know is that it took 6 weeks for a letter to be traced. I used the Post Office that time and that time was the last. In my opinion, while getting it traced there was a ho-hum attitude with the two people I spoke with. So tell me-how long does it take to trace a Prioroity letter? FED EX takes 2 minutes through the net. Thats a fact and thats my point. Of course I am not degrading every person who works for the Postal System and I sincerely mean no ill will here. But I DO KNOW what I am talking about when it comes to reliability. It doesnt matter if you move 1 zillion letters a day. All I know as a stupid guy who does'nt know what he is talking about is that FED-EX and UPS are more reliable. Period. I DO apologize for any offense that I have given you Dave, this was not meant to be personal. I came across wrong because I came home to no CM and no way of knowing if it even has been shipped. FEDEX and UPS could give me that info quickly. The bad thing about emails, is that sometimes they can be taken the wrong way by the reader and I do apologize.

Yes Arch, In NO WAY am I even hinting at the fact that BTS screwed me and I hope I didn't give that impression. That 1940s comment was a weak attempt at humor. Manta- I have experience in shipping important "stuff" and it is common knowledge that the post office is a big no no. Once you send it via mail, you are in some wierd limbo and you have no proof that your adressee received the package. I assure you that UPS beats our good old post office in delivery times too, To make a long story longer, I think it would be in BTS best interest to provide online ordering like the majority of other web based sales organizations. Let the buyer select the shipper, Parcel Post for free, UPS for $10, and Fed Ex overnight for $20. I love BTS, I hate the Post Office service and hohum attitude!

BTS, You should really reconsider the US Post Office. They are the LAST choice I ever use when shipping stuff. Lost, delayed, stolen ect and they don't really care either. I once mailed a very important legal document PRIORITY mail and those SOBs lost it and it took 6 (yes not a typo) six freakin weeks to trace! Switch to UPS and charge a $10 fee. It will make everyone happier, your customers can even trace thier own shipment and stay off of your back. Look you guys make a great WWII game, but there is no need to stay true to the 1940s by shipping like you live in the 1940s.

Maneri, Have you considered the USMC. I know I am gonna take some flak for this-but you MOS don't mean jack to the corporate world. Forget about learning a trade in the military, use this as an experince to remember. Join USMC reserves as an infantryman, go to college, and you'll have an unbeatable combo going for you. You'll have a degree and learn to work hard and never quit. I contribute much of my success to the experiences I learned in boot camp and infantry training school. If you do decide to go, go hard though! It will kick your @#$.

Boys, All I can speak of is WP hand grenades of wich I have experience. They are causualty producing grenades. Effective causualty radius of 25 meters even though particles of WP can be thrown 30 meters. A Thermite genade produces molten iron that ignites or fuses to whatever its put on. You dont want to be holding this baby as a Roman Candle as it tends to heat up to 4,300 deg for about 40 sec. and will bore through about 1/4 inches of steel.

I am with you teach, no offense to the crew at battlefront, but I would love to see the USMC in island hopping campaigns in the Pacific. I hear that we are far from any type of upgrade to that so Teach, you're reading my mind. Of course, when amd if Battlefront does a real Pac type game I would buy it anyway.

This is not to be taken the wrong way I am really curious ? Why does the majority of the board favor the East front? I would much rather see Pacific action and island hopping campaigns against the Japenese in the jungles.

iggi, You gotta try the Cpl Filth map. IMHO this thing rocks and is the best CC out there. With the full install theres no Stugs.
