  1. Here is another review from a german game mag, if someone cares. They gave 79 out of 100. gamestar review
  2. For me it was worth the buy. CM:SF combines tactical depth with decent graphics. Feels a bit like playing Close Combat, even the theatre is different. The few glitches are negligible for me. From a technical side it runs fine in 1280x1024, highest settings, on a AMD 3500+, 2 Gig RAM, Ati 1600 (512 MB).
  3. According to the manual there should be a trainings center (YTC), but I only can start the main campaign. My first suggestion was that this is a bug, related to language version. So I switched from german (my native language) to english - and no campaign at all was shown anymore. Switching back to german and restarting the game let me choose the main campaign again but the training missions are still lacking. Anyone else experienced this problem ? Really would appreciate to fix it, because I never played any predecessor CM and am not very familiar with this kind of gameplay. Oh, I still have the unpatched CM:SF since the patch got withdrawed.
  4. All in all CM is a great game. Finally something different to the Close Combat series. But Something is a little annoying. The lack of a minimap and/or a strategic map. Will it be in the final release? It is difficult to localize my troops (and the enemy)without it.
