Will we be able to edit how many guns there are per battery? This could be used to simulate counter-battery, ect.

I am amazed at how many names on the Vietnam Wall were due to "accidental self-destruction." Will weapon malfunctions include the disasterous effect of firing a rifle grenade with ball ammunition? How about dropped grenades. I was thinking that strange close combat results could be explained by such events. Will explosives be vulnerable to hostile fires? This means bangalores, flame throwers, ect. How about tanks running over their own troops?

The 6th SS Mountain Division definitely fought the US Army during Nowdwind. Glad they'll eventually be included.

Fifty-eight years ago today, Operation Barbarossa began. Hitler said that the world would hold its breath. Well, the world caught its breath in time to crush Hitler's country and reduce it to ashes. Now we hold our breath for Combat mission. This invasion is different. Our enemies are corporate mediocraty and the industrial belief that ideas are generic. Anyway, happy Barbarossa Day. Without this day, Hitler could have kept the Third Reich intact and created a dark ages in Europe that might still exist today.
Hopefully, we'll soon be celebrating Beta Day.

Will we be able to leave a camera at the POV of a unit and have it move with the unit? That will create newsreel-style footage. Great stuff. You guys should post some player scenario footage on the site. How about if it was already in movie format? It could be like a preview of the scenario.

There weren't many planes left for CAS in Germany after D-Day. Which ones will be included?

The site looks great! We are on the ground level of something big. Time to see the new movies...

Since the EF module is next, will desert follow? Will it be part of the EF? I assume that the Pacific Theater will be last. This is neat, talking about the future of a game that we all KNOW will work. Most designers can't do that.

When having the computer play itself, can we choose a perspective (for hidden movement) or do we see everything? It would be interesting to see how the enemy AI thinks when confronted with false reports, scetchy information, ect.

Just a technical note. Modern military terminology does not use POW, anymore. People we capture are EPWs, our people are called PWs.

Granted, India's democracy leaves much to be desired (food, human rights, ect.). Still, at least the women are HOT! Ever seen those women? WOW! Central Asian women have incredible eyes. They leap right out at you.

Two out of every three German Infantry Platoons were led by SSGs. Will the random leader selection engine take this into consideration?

Can we start a scenario with prisoners already in it? Like liberating a POW camp?

Since scaling is only for user interface, can it be adjusted during replay? It would be neat to film a battle and then replay it with a realistic scale.

Will panicked troops run through their own minefields? Will they disobey orders to move through them, or will they follow a mistaken choice and become casualties?

Does this mean that we can create campaigns? If so, what are they like (how many battles, ect.)?

Brizade-sized batles would be hard to manage, but individual soldiers would be neat. That would make a great module or download upgrade for after the game is released.

Living in Arizona as I do, I know many people who work for Intel. By next Summer, they will have a 1,000 Megahrtz chip on the market. When I heard this, the first thing I thought of was individual soldiers and brigade-level battles. Just dropping the news, if it is news.

Are trucks (like the Opel Blitz 3-ton) crewed with 1 or 2 men? When possible, my battalion liked the support platoon people to have a second-seater (Infantry Battalion).

When I was little, I tried to make napalm. Fortunately, the chipped pieces of soap did not gel in the gasoline.
Anyone own The Guns of Navarone playset? It was a big mountain with two huge guns and tons of soldiers. There was even an elevator in the back. Also included was a plastic and string wench that brought ammo to the guns (they did not fire). The hook at the end of the string went through the ammo stack's plastic loop (it was a little pyramid that looked like stacked shells) and was wound up by hand with a little plastic crank. After the battle, I would take the German commander and try him for war crimes. The hook happened to fit perfectly aroung his neck, and I would hang him for his depradations. I'd tie the string off on a notch and leave him dangling there when dinner-time came. My dad found him hanging there, once. He laughed, "my kid is hanging Nazis, how much better can life get?"
Any other seekers of justice in this group?

Will vehicles sometimes be assigned their own drivers, not depending on squads to man them? If so, will these drivers fight as individuals, as single-man markers if attacked?

If we can save as scenario, can we then change the map in the editor, so as to keep the same troops? This could be used to keep the same company through a campaign.

Forgive me if this has been covered before. Will there be "what if" scenarios available (Canada vs. Free Poles, ect.)?
