  1. I agree with CANI and PCPILOT. I have purchased everygame since Flight Commander form this great company. I agree their workmanship and integrity is second to none. I have, however do not understand this concept of when its ready, so there!! Come on guys. You dont even know which quarter it will be released, even at this late in the project :(

    Oh well I would settle for a one liner saying we are say..........80% complete. OR whats the big deal about giving one a 60 day window for ESTIMATED completion of the project. I think we are are mature enough, if you miss it!! SO What at least you tried and if it takes longer to make a better product great!

    Just would like to know if I should tune in for September or start re-freshin in a week or two.

  2. I agree that TCP/IP should be the only priority being worked on. Playing two player hotseat games take 3-6 hrs a sitting to finish. More importantly I am concerned with reviewers looking at this excellent product and possibly giving it a lower score/review without internet play. It seems in this day in age that without it, most reviewers/potential cutomers get a little upset if head-to-head gaming is not a possibility.

    Dont get me wrong BTS did the right thing in releasing CM and having us receive the patch at a later time. I just hope TCP/IP is not being put on the back burners in order to create new patches/fixes. Oh well couple of months is nothing to wait for in CM time smile.gif

  3. Have received some excellent help in locating some ASL scenarios. Was wondering if someone could help me translate the counter info more accurately.

    On the counters there is three numbers (infantry) i.e. 4-6-7. I assume this refers to an attack factor, defense factor and movement? A guess.....

    Also many counters have a number in the upper right corner, usually a one or two. What does this refer to?

    Leader counters i.e. are like 9-1 7-0 etc.

    I take it the first number is a command rating and not sure, maybe the second a command radius.

    If anyone could help me understand the above I would appreciate it greatly. I am trying to translate several scenarios over to CM and have not played ASL since university and lost ASL rules.

  4. Where can I download ASL scenarios?

    My friend in the past has downloaded full set cards and OOB's for various scenarios. He found a site about 6 months ago, however, he cannot find it again. Does anyone know where I could purchase or download such scenarios.

    I have downloaded the ASL maps....which are by the way phenominal!!!

  5. Hi Guys!

    A quick query if I may.....

    I have edited a few excellent CM scenarios/maps to my specific liking, however the odd time I have noticed that when playtesting the finished product I am forced to play Hotseat, and the 1 player option for one side is not available. Is this some type of setting the initial scenario desinger has forced upon the scenario/map forcing you to play one side only as one player?

    If so, how can I overide this if possible?

  6. I was recently creating a operation and ran out of units?????

    I was not allowed too have more than about 3 btn's worth of infantry and support units.

    The map was fairly large about 4 km x 3km.

    When I "clicked" to add more units nothing would happen, if i deleted one unit/squad I could add another but no more. It seemed to max out at 9500 pts for about each side. Why is this? Does CM have only so many slots for units like steel panthers.

    I recall Madd Matt saying that he saw a scenario/operation with approx 12 btn's worth of infantry, how is this possible? I have a very fast computer and would love to create larger operations.

    Please Help!

    The maximum map size I can get is as about ~4.5km to 3.9 km is this the largest you can get?
